She also happened to bring her damn baby home when she came back, so she was living in the living room, in the way of everyone. So my parents rushed out to get a contractor to build a second story on the house and it turned out to be a bad contractor. We had rain coming through the ceiling for awhile before we finally got a good contractor, which overall took forever to complete. It was a complete nightmare. I won't have my life and time wasted like that again. Simple murder is actually me being merciful if I'm ever put in a situation like that again.

If you are referring to me, there was no real agreement, it was my sister. I either dealt with it or completely uprooted my life to get out of it. She stole all kinds of stuff from the house, including my DSi XL to pay for her habit. We had to get bolt locks on our rooms. My parents tried banning her from the house briefly, but it barely helped. It was years ago now, so I forget, but she eventually got into treatment. We mostly get along now, but she can still be a major pain in the ass, randomly yelling about shit. I recently got noise canceling headphones and some other stuff to block her out.

I've known Of The Last of Us since like a few weeks after it was announced. I haven't even heard of Xenosaga until a few months ago, and that's only because of some annoying fanboys. That's got to be the same for many other people. that's got to tell you how little Xenosaga matters.

I hate having to adjust clocks especially having to account for internal clocks and having my sleep schedule messed up.

But then again the point is to just change the clocks instead of changing around schedules I think, which would probably be more complex.

I was surprised at Sub Zero beating Shulk. I thought fighting games had fallen off in popularity enough in general and with people specific to this site, combined with the love Shulk's series has been seeing on this site, that it would be enough for Shulk to win.

The KOS-MOS win is no surprise though. Xeno stuff gets a good amount of love on this site, and KOS-MOS specially gets a good amount. You combine that with the hate Last of US receives on this site and the winner is pretty obvious.

I don't know that much about KOS-MOS, but I think some of her appeal is the fact that she is an emotionless woman, not letting emotions get in the way. One of the stereo types for women is to be overly emotional and she breaks that mold. I think she is also like a blank slate, able to learn whatever, and that is appealing. This is what I've gathered from some general information about the character, so I'm not 100% sure if this is correct though. Plus as people have said, she looks really kool and is also from a time in gaming that more so appeals to this site.

Also, I suppose you could be an "organic robot" if you are organic in nature but don't posses sentience. I think Ghost in the Shell had a character sort of like this, he was called a bio android. His brain was organic and the rest of his body was made from standard robotic materials, but even though his brain was organic he didn't act like he had sentience, or at best he was learning it.

There is definitely a point where I would say the hell with it depending on how much extra time it would extend my life, send me to Moses lol.

I eat fairly healthy but eat my fair share of crap and also dink soda moderately, not worrying about stuff.

Still, I kind of like what I do, only really drinking on sort of special occasions, like sometimes when I'm down the shore. If you're not careful it can get expensive and I usually like to be alert to be more productive for myself anyway.

I also shouldn't have said it makes everything taste worse, I do like sometimes when the put some like bourbon in various sauces.

The first article though seems to downplay the effects of red wine once a day, but if you read into it and also read the second article, that's even bad once a day, and moderate drinking can cause brain damage.

I don't care about Halloween (or any of the traditional holidays as much as I use to, the underlying stuff is just fiction and the illusion has been broken), but I'll be out giving out candy sitting in my driveway with my family.

I also have one of those one way see through grim reaper hood like masks that I've been wearing since I was around 12 (use to have a sickle with it but it broke) lol, that I'll be wearing while I'm out there.

I also go on almost daily walks for the sun (vitamin D), peace of mind and exercise with my mom, so I get to see some of the various decorations in my neighborhood during the various holidays still.

Volcano Bay is probably the best water park I've ever been to. The raft water slides are tops and let you get tons of hangtime, their Aqua Coaster is tons of fun, and their body slides are soooo good. They have two trap door ones at the top of the volcano where you're going so fast and it just plunges you in at the end with tons of speed and force. It was sooooo fun. They have a top tier lazy river (in which I somehow got stuck under a waterfall for 15 seconds) and a turbulent river where you just put on a life vest and go through a wavey, rough river that forces you along that was really fun too. There's also a wave pool that is fun for a wave pool, and the way they have it set up is that there's a mini-beach in front of the wave pool that comes from the volcano, but they have the sight of everything set up so that if you're just hanging out and laying on a lawn chair, it's like you're just laying on the beach.

It's really, really good and well done.

That's so tempting to make another trip for lol.

I've been there twice, didn't get to go as a kid but went twice in my twenties (currently 34 now), about five years apart. I like giving them a few years to update stuff rather then just going every year, but it has been awhile, maybe I'll go sometime in the near future.

The water parks down there is one thing I didn't get a chance to do and was wondering about the quality of them vs others throughout the country.

The clear beaches are another thing I missed.

Also missed the Kennedy Space Center (but did other space stuff like in Epcot).

If you are in Florida IMO the best thing there is actually in Sea World, a place most people wouldn't expect to find something great.

They have a 3D omni theater there. You walk in with a group of people and stand in the middle with 3D glasses and they play some like basic turtle video, but not only is everything all around you, but it also pops out and is really like you are actively part of it.

It's fairly new if I remember right and is definitely something you shouldn't miss, it blew me away. Plus Sea World has some ok coasters, so there is other stuff to do there besides just seeing the animals.

Everything else in Florida ranges from ok to overrated IMO.

Waiters ain't ever gonna literally go in the red because of your tip their. Delivery drivers can. They expend money to deliver food. Waiters don't have to pay for something to get you yours.

But I pay the delivery fee, that should cover gas and wear and tare on the car, unless I am missing something.

I would have no problem taking 5% from waiters/waitress and giving it to drivers as a general principle, but exactly how I would go about dealing with that I am not sure.

A lot of places have minimum orders for delivery at like $7-$8 bucks. So you are saying delivery drivers should be out there running orders across town for 70 cent tips? Like, Jesus. I bet delivery drivers would literally lose money if everyone was like you. Then they would install mandatory driver fees to everyone because of yinz.

Your delivery driver, if you are regularly tipping low, should deliver your food last every time an option exists to do so. And if Uber eats they should cancel your order every time. You literally cost them money to work.

I just wouldn't hire you is all, I'm not "entitled enough to think I need food (outside of maybe something like Peapod) delivered to me. I'm not entitled enough to think I am so necessary that 10% isn't enough.

Also, where exactly did 15 and 20% come from in resturants, most likely pulled out of someones ass so they didn't have to pay a living wage.

And yeah, I also tip on tax and delivery charges, so really I am tipping more then 10% anyway.

So now because you use delivery services you are entitled, especially when you can get cheaper prices many places online. lol, this is why I hate the contest board and only show up on on season.
