How do they plan on building their feud to main event Evolution also? Ronda and Nikki are both absolutely terrible on the mic. Do they give each of them a mouthpiece? Do they make mean faces at each other? Brock and Roman can't talk, but they had Heyman.

What am I missing? Rousey has looked good in the ring. Hell, people in this very topic were gushing over how well she was doing and how quickly she picked stuff up. That was incredible. The writing is ass, but Becky still delivered. This is just more proof that the people making decisions are completely out of touch with the fans. They can keep giving Becky lines where she insults the fans, but people aren't going to boo her over Charlotte.

There was so much heat there, and Charlotte/Becky should be main eventing Evolution. If they really want to build the show around good wrestling, that's the only option. Rousey is good in the ring, but Nikki is not, and them headlining isn't going to be anywhere close to what we could get out of Becky and Charlotte.

Definitely not looking forward to the upcoming raid units. Never played Deus Ex, no interest in it, and unless the TMRs are godly, that makes it a pretty hard pass. At least it lets me save, and I still have the free pulls to get my fix.

The best one I've seen like that was Kefka on the FFBE board. During the CG Unit mog event he shared a normal Nichol (at least I think it was Nichol, might have been Lid) decked out with a bunch of TMRs to make them look real. It wasn't until someone made a topic cursing him that people started realizing he put up a comedy share. I might have to copy his Punchith one of these days, that one was really good (a 1200 Atk Tilith. Yes, that Tilith!)

Reports are saying that Erick Rowan suffered a Biceps tear at Summerslam. Not sure of how severe yet, but it sounds like the best case is 3-6 weeks right now.

This would have been perfect. That role requires someone who can talk, and Corbin just isn't good in that area.

I want Owens to go back to SD (or stay on Raw if SD becomes the A show on network TV). Since he doesn't have "the look" I don't think he'd ever get a run over the likes of Braun and Roman, but I could see him doing great things with AJ, Samoa Joe, Bryan, etc.

Owens doesn't need to leave, he needs to be properly utilized.

I'd like to see Braun realize he needs backup for the Shield, and actually go through with KOs original suggestion that they work together to get Braun a successful cashin in exchange for a title shot. Owens does stuff to keep Seth and Dean from intervening, and Braun cashes in successfully.

Owens somehow gets title from his agreement match with Braun. Holds title and breaks Brock's modern day record, while actually defending and not being a cowardly heel (this would be a character change). Owens becomes super dominant and takes his rightful place at the top of the mountain.

I don't like him as a performer, but I have no issues with the guy behind the character. I wish he'd get better on the mic and develop a more diverse moveset that isn't just Superman Punch spam and spear.

At this point I'm trying to find something to be interested in with him, not because I like him, but because I know that if I keep nitpicking and hating on everything they have him do, it's just going to make me sour on the product as a whole. They're giving him the ball and letting him run with it, and I can't change that. The options are no longer watching, or dealing with it until they give the belt to someone who's more deserving of it. There are a lot of things that I like right now, and I don't want to avoid all of that just because I'm stuck hating on one particular thing.

Regardless of whether or not they screw things up, I have the feeling that the Shield will be around for a long time now. Roman is champion and getting cheered, and Vince isn't about the let that go. He's just accomplished his lifes goal. As soon as Roman is separate from the Shield and people are used to having a present champion, he goes back to getting booed.

I think that's part of why Angle is gone. It gives them a heel authority figure to get screwed over by.

I kind of want Corbin to start giving himself title matches every week, where he progressively stacks the odds more and more in his favor.

I'm interested to see if Braun keeps trying here. Like, does he try to lock Dean and Seth backstage somewhere? I think I recall that happening in the past where Austin (maybe?) did that.

They could also use Hell in a Cell. Brock wins, Braun cashes in, and maybe Roman helps take down Brock to keep the belt on Raw (and also to get Roman cheered) or something. Lots of interesting options.

I hated that whole finish at first, but now that I've had a few minutes to sit and start really thinking about it, I think it's great.

We have to look at history though. Roman loses, and he bitches nonstop and makes excuses.

Someone loses to Roman, and they're required to go out and say that he was the better man, he's the real deal, he's a superstar, etc.

I think it's just as likely that Brock walks out and puts over Roman as the best ever, just because that's the theme after someone loses to Roman.

I still want to see if Lesnar gets his rematch. I'd love him to win the belt back on Raw tonight, and then have Braun cash in on him there.

After Becky's big "heel turn", how long do Vince and the writers ignore the fact that she's getting cheered over Charlotte, who is being booked as the face here?

Do they realize that Becky is going to get cheered and book her properly as the face as early as Tuesday, or does this become the reverse Roman, where she's booked as a heel but cheered for years?

I actually think they might finally listen to the audience and have her booked as a face on Tuesday.

I always figured that when Roman finally won he would do so by finally cheating. He has fought Brock so many times and LOST CLEAN every single time. Logically just as like....a story Roman should have needed to change

It's because Vince really doesn't care. Once he realized that his boy Roman was never going to get cheered on his big win, , he just decided to book it so that people wouldn't shit on the match. Them cutting the crowd mics during the pin, and cutting off a celebration years in the making so quickly also supports that. Vince only cares about the result he wants, the rest of us be damned.

I don't want the man dead because I don't wish that on anybody, but I wish Steph and Trips would overthrow him for control of the company.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns: **1/2

A lot to go over here; for starters, Reigns won somewhat clean (one could argue that Lesnar was distracted by Strowman but whatever) and this is what WWE has been building for for years. So what was the celebration? Reigns went on the turnbuckle and raised the title, and WWE went off the air a few moments later. WWE also, really noticeably, turned the crowd mics down after the pinfall because the crowd was almost silent. People can debate this all they want; but the fact is WWE spent years building this guy up, and when he finally wins, they are so scared the crowd will be booing the guy; they have to effectively mute the audience. This isn't a conspiracy theory, listen to the noise from the crowd during the end of the match and immediately following the pinfall. It's just embarrassing that WWE refuses to acknowledge that the fans don't want this guy.

The ending of the show was awkward for another reason; at least for me. I guess when Strowman came out I thought the idea was he was going to cash in after the match was over and take on the winner. I'm thinking maybe Strowman really meant he was going to cash in later; like on another show and he didn't care who the champion was. There is also the possibility they'll say on Sunday Strowman planned to cash in, but was either incapacitated by Brock, or Brock through the briefcase away and he couldn't cash in. Either way, it would be lame and it seems like they only put Strowman out there to try and trick the fans into thinking Strowman was going to save them from Reigns leaving the show as champion. Again, that's embarrassing.

I think Finn has a better shot once Vince is no longer making the decisions. Triple H seems really high on Finn and knows what he can do. I think things will improve a lot once Vince retires.

You know, I think I would've been very very happy if Roman won with some gas still in the tank, and Braun cashed in and won after a decent effort by Roman. But Roman would've just been too tired to actually take down Braun. And then there could've been another Roman vs. Braun feud. That would've been a nice way to end it. This is just... I suppose Roman won clean but it doesn't feel like he really took down Lesnar. So I still don't think Roman is the guy, and I still think that Lesnar would kick his ass uninterrupted and with no distractions. And I got excited to see Braun only for him to get tossed around at ringside.

I mean, what's wrong with Braun cashing in there? Would've gotten everyone hyped. Would've made what's coming up pretty interesting. Braun as world champ has made sense for a long time and still makes sense to me. Roman as world champ is literally just making us say, "glad that's done. Took too long. Hopefully he's not superman punching 5x in a row for the next year's worth of main events."

I think Vince just wanted the show to end with Roman celebrating his big win after dethroning Lesnar, and wasn't going to let anybody take that away from him. Braun cashing in would have made the moment about Braun, and the moment had to be about our hero and savior Roman Reigns.

I agree that it seems like a waste of 4 months as well. This could have just been done at Mania and we could have been closer to the end of Roman's title run then, and having a champion on Raw that people actually care about.

It's been the big theme for well over a year now.

I could see them giving the belt to Braun tomorrow via cash in so Roman can get more "sympathy cheers", because he only got the belt for a day after being the one to finally beat Brock, but I'm guessing his title run lasts a while, even if it means Strowman failing his cash in.
