thats not really the case at all
it just follows the manga more quickly which movied at an even faster pace
so the classic anime dragged things out

i mean crystal changes things from the manga but it still is a closer adaptation than the original.
what could take 15 episodes in the classic anime was over in a single chapter in the manga

its first 2 story arcs arent great
they lacked the charm of the original
but it did the 3rd story arc really well
but of course its really hard to screw up the death busters arc as it was also the best story in the original anime

no there is a diner near big bang burger where you can go to study
when you are studying you can order either coffee or a steak
the steak raises your charm for some reason
and the coffee raises your guts because it takes guts to spend so long in a restaurant and order nothing but coffee.

you cant finish the big bang burger until you have the right stats at the right level but just trying always raises your guts and the studying also raises your knowledge
once you have enough social stats to finish it then eating the burger raises multiple stats

I feel like they just swapped her for Haru and it shows.

since they had to cut hifumi out as a party member because of the lack of time creating a whole new character to take her place wouldnt be the case because it would take longer to create a whole new character

only 3 really required a detailed guide to get all the social links
it was very unforgiving and if you wanted to max out all the social links (what confidants used to be called)
you had no wiggle room to do anything and had to follow a step by step guide to pull it off

4 and 5 are more forgiving and its easier to max out all of them in a single playthrough
but even if you fail thats what newgameplus is for

this is only my second time playing it
i played it when it was new and i decided to max out all my social stats first. courage, kindness, ect
it would be easier to max out all the confidants with max social stats from the start of the game
so i only focused on a few confidants but not even half of them. a power outtage when my ps4 was on corrupted the data and everything was lost. all my hard work so i couldnt do a new game plus with maxed social stats.

so this time im just gonna focus on the confidants and max out my social stats when i can

Meaning clearing palace in one day, yes boss fight is whenever you send calling card.
Its kinda tough to clear palaces in one go on your first playthrough, so id say don't bother but try to be efficient.
You can buy sp recovery accessory from Takemi

and remember that there are a few palaces that cant be completed in a single day because of an obstacle you need to clear in the real world before its gone from the cognitive one

level 10

no grinding tips just dont run from battles and you will stay the level you need to be
if you really want to grind on like 3 days in the game during a special weather if you go into mementos and run into the reaper he can start the battle with the despair status effect.

the reaper shows up if you spend to much time on one floor of mementos and is so strong he will wipe out your party even at end game.

he gives a lot of experience though. anyway on these days which you only have a small window to take advantage of and they are all late game. anyway he can randomly start the battle with despair which is a status effect that makes the one inflicted with it do nothing for 3 turns then die
so yeah this is a super easy way to get to high levels late game. its recommended you max out the shogi playing girl in the churchs confidant because she lets you escape from battles at the start which means there is no risk of not getting him with despair and having him wipe you out before you have your first turn

oh and even if you dont max out everyones confidant level make sure you at least max out the 3 party members you plan to take with you to the final boss fight because maxing out a party members social links gives them more abilities in combat and a brand new more powerful upgraded persona

rose the hippie who survived until the last ten minutes was terrible though
when everyone ran from the leprechaun she hide in a closet meaning everyone had to go back for her.
then you find out that she found the leprechauns gold awhile ago and sent it into gold for cash to support her off the grid house
leaving only a little bit of gold left and not enough to use to try to save themselves with by giving it back

the trailer made it look like she would be badass but that scene from the trailer "i can handle a pocket sized pixie" is her death scene and nope she cant handle a pocket sized pixie"

the creature capture system brings even more replayability to it
i think im gonna replay it a few times once with each special dress sphere and then once with just a monster team

its even the last joke of the movie
a guy drives up with a car and asks what happened
the final girl gives a one liner and the survivors walk off in the distance
one survivor stops and points out "you know we do kind of need a ride cause im losing a lot of blood here:

then they turn back and walk back to the car

the movie did have problems
like in the original when the characters gave him his gold he left. so giving him back his gold was literally an option for survival the only reason it didnt work in the first movie was because ollie swallowed a piece

now in this one he is two faced and made a deal with a girl and killed her anyway "i said i wouldnt lay a hand on you, i never said i wouldnt kill you"

and he seems to be planning on killing everyone after he got his gold back anyway
