Well I dont really regard anything below an xx60 for gaming so if they do dip into the 50s or 40s that isnt really worth regarding.

In other words using games to describe a GPUs potential should come with the expectation that Im referring to 60-level or higher. 2060s, 2070s, and 2080s should all be capable of playing in the 4K space to some degree.

You wouldnt need anything other than a 70-series GPU to do anything meaningful.

A 20xx class GPU should be specced to run games at 4K in general with no issues, the 2080 is overkill.
