Once you've bought the land, there will be a chest near by that has all the materials you need to build a small one room house. You can build more, but you will need to get the materials your self. But just having that one room house will give you a non respawning chest inside the house as well as the one outside the house that holds the materials to make your starter house.

So how long until they pass another bill that lets them charge people for breaking new laws before they were passed?

Do the main quest up until you go see the Greybeards. THEN go do side quests.

This will spawn random dragon attacks, but more importantly, dragon camps. And also shouts.

Nah. Random dragon spawns are annoying. Not fun or challenging, just annoying.

So I went with my random gut instinct and went imperial for the escape, assuming I still have options, but will see where it goes. Heading to town with the homie, but I gotta do some laundry and find food, so temporary break.

Should of went with the storm cloaks. It has no effect on the story or civil war, but imperial armor sells for a lot more then storm cloak armor. Still wont matter much in the long run, but it helps for a early game start. Speaking of a good game start, there's a unmarked bandit camp with three bandits not far from the guardian stones. One of them has a treasure map that will lead you to a fallen hollowed out tree near River wood. The chest wont spawn until you have the map and it has some good stuff to sell.

I'd intentionally poison my land some how if it was possible. There has to be a way to destroy the soil so that nothing can be grown on it anymore. I'd also burn every structure to the ground. If someone is going to take my stuff without compensation you can bet your ass I'll destroy it first.

This honestly doesn't seem like a big deal.

It plays in between episodes, so you're not being interrupted during a show like for cable. Just get up and do something physical while it plays. Hell, if you're like me and you binge-watch a Marvel show the day it comes out, you can just stay in your bed and browse another website until the ad finishes.

This is why we can't have nice things.
