Most people just home-rule it by adding the free-parking thing, and allowing properties to go un-purchased (When a spot is landed on, if the original person doesn't want it, it is supposed to automatically go to auction) --- |

It's an interesting take on metroidvanias in that all of your abilities/weapons are randomized, and if you play it in the rogue-like mode, there is a perma-death aspect where you can lose everything. Lots of fun weapons to play around with too, so occasionally you might want to die on purpose just to get access to something different. --- |

Not to mention that there are so many types of spiders that it is very difficult to tell which ones are poisonous without getting a close-up look, which, in itself puts forth a fear, as you don't know if it will try to jump at you. So when you walk through a web, or see a spider nearby, you don't know if you are going to end up with a bitey little stowaway or not. Edit: To add to it, in many more serious cases of arachnophobia, you also have the paranoia that exists along side it. Once you get the idea of a spider in your head, you will begin to associate any form of hair movement on your arms as something that could have been a spider, leading to more jumpy behavior. --- |
