I'd like to see Mystique (Possibly Sabertooth too if Wolverine is in the first one) with Rogue as the villains, especially because Carol Danvers will be around by that point.

After Mystique loses Rogue to the X-Men, they could tease Magneto at the end.

I don't know if it's goodwill or Sony being incredibly cheap with the licensing deals.

That could absolutely be the case but it's hard to believe they wouldn't do everything they could to get Cloud in All-Stars when Nintendo apparently would (twice!), despite nobody ever being able to have a legitmate complaint about his absence in Smash.

Hell, I love that he's on the roster but Smash doesn't need Cloud at all. It's difficult to imagine All-Stars ever working without him, by comparison.

The fact that PS Classic is such a massive fuck up is the biggest head scratcher.

It almost feels like Sony doesn't have as much goodwill from other companies as Nintendo have.

Like, the PS Classic and their take on Smash both heavily relied on 3rd parties going in with them in a big way. The characters offered to them for All-Stars (or whatever it was called) were mainly used for advertisement and not respect of their gaming history as a whole. I sometimes wonder if the PS Classic selection missing so many mega games is another case of these same third-parties just unwilling to throw in with Sony again.

I have no idea why any of that would be the case, though.

In a weird coincidence, just earlier today I started Persona 4 Dancing All Night on the PS4, haven't even hit the first dance in Story Mode yet and I already love it.

Persona very sneakily became one of my favorite IPs, I didn't even notice it happening even though I've been playing since 3.

It's kinda difficult to qualify Drake as a good guy at times, he actively goes in search of all this trouble he finds for himself, is an actual thief and his end goal is to get rich off the treasures he finds. He's more a rogue with a heart of gold, I guess... But he's still guilty of a lot of the destruction he creates.

Lara at least is already rich, and is often out seeking artifacts for either recovery/curiosity or because she knows it's a danger to the state of the world.

I think they should seriously consider trying it for a main title. The last truly loved entry in the series (discounting MMOs) was 10, since then it's kinda struggled with both fans and critics. I think it'd be worth going back to basics and just seeing how it plays out.

I'd be surprised if people were against turn-based combat as much as SE seem to think they are. Provided the production values are there, I doubt most would give a crap -- it's not like their other versions of combat have been blowing people's minds.

did you even play skyward sword? the majority of its enemies and puzzles were designed around moving your sword in specific ways or slashing at specific angles or anything, the motion controls were a great fit for what the game was

like maybe you don't like motion controls and that's fine since they can be a bit finnicky sometimes but it definitely wasn't a "press B to swing sword -> swing hand to swing sword" sort of change

Pretty sure you could change your sword's swing direction in previous 3D Zeldas by holding a direction and hitting B (though obviously not to the extent the motion plus had). Also the sword is just one aspect of the game -- stuff like the swimming and flying was highly unnecessary with motion controls.

I find the worst part about Nintendo's usage of motion controls is that generally (I'm sure there are exceptions) they are just replacing inputs that have been working fine on standard controllers forever. Skyward Sword was atrocious for this, almost every mechanic in that game had been in previous Zelda titles except now you're forced to do it with motion controls because???

Wouldn't be an issue if they were optional where applicable but it's usually entirely unnecessary yet required.

Loaded - I replayed this a lot, the aesthetic was cool and it was satisfying wasting waves of mooks after fully powering up your weapon.

Vandal Hearts - My most favorite SRPG of all time, it's the perfect combination of mechanical depth and simplicity, has an interesting story, great music, memorable cast of characters, lots of level variety, no grinding, some of the most brutal and well realized sound effects I've ever heard and an IMO awesome art-style with super cool sprite-work, so much of the magic still looks flashy as fuck to this day.

As soon as a character goes onto the banner and matches the leak, it's all over, as that would instantly confirm the entire leak.

Any character update on the mural will be enough, if their position and posture matches the leak then it's a confirmation.

I guess it's possible they could change it but seems unnecessary unless they really want to drip feed the characters that are left.

It's super lame now but back when I was younger and played this, I idolized Trent's golden magnum (ugh didn't it even have like a cheetah/tiger fur grip or something?) -- used to run around dual-wielding them thinking I was the shit.

I did eventually move off it, though. The Falcons got a lot more usage when I realised they could fire as fast as I could hit the trigger, combine that with the aim assist and those things were absolutely lethal close-range. The Farsight and Phoenix were both super damn cool too and I loved running around with the unlockable Goldeneye weapons. Tranq darts and N-Bombs (That can't be right!?) were also hilarious just for trolling friend's visuals.

Honestly the game had so many great weapons, Dragon/Super Dragon, Avenger, Slayer, Devastator, Mauler, Laptop Gun and hell even just the regular old shotgun felt so powerful. Game was packed with quality weapons.
