| Cookie Bag 12/30/18 11:37:05 PM #360 | Finally finished Caligula Effect, god what a terrible anime, i'm forced to give it a 5/10 and not lower because it did some things i did like, most notably the music. The characters were between boring almost non-existent, it took the show 7 episodes to start fleshing them out, before that i didn't know who they were or what their names were since they were never properly introduced or mentioned at all asides from the MC. The story is kinda interesting, pretty much talks about escapism as a form of coping with real life but taken to the extreme and miu's misunderstanding on what "happiness" means and traps them into this perfect world; while some people loved this (the "villains" of the anime/game), some people started realizing that it's not right and wanted to go back to their real lives to try live their lives properly and try to push through the adversities they live through. From what i read the game itself didn't have a proper budget and suffers from the same issues as the anime so i guess that's extra points for being faithful to the original story? lol At least this saves me from actually buying the game and ill just get the OST online or something because man the OST is great. --- |

| Cookie Bag 12/27/18 7:17:47 PM #378 | I just clear the first 2 enemies with my RF/HG team, then swap with my AR/SMG team and autobattle my way to victory, no need to kite or anything, i'm just lazy and i got more than enough repair tickets >_> Which reminds me of how funny i find people that say "you're gonna get stuck at harder events!" and are all doom and gloom about it, you can literally throw any sort of level 70+ unit into any event and clear them, i'm not buying that "you need level 90+ fully equipped meta echelons" bullshit anymore from anyone, this game is not hard, its extremely easy if you're not braindead, not let anyone tell you otherwise. And even in the case that the event IS hard, kiting is a skill you can develop in 5 minutes of dicking around with your units and pull it easy, i had to do it for orouboros and it was cake. Though i think singularity is the only thing that will change this given how dumb the difficulty spike is with that. --- |
