It's a surprisingly strange and recent phenomenon to try and search the internet for answers to questions I have about older RPG titles, only to then to find the answer in a post I made in 2008.

With regards to Prima, it's unfortunate for those who will have lost their jobs, but this is the future going forward with the Internet. I'm actually surprised that it took so long for this inevitability. GameFAQs and wiki pages have been a thing for a long time now, and when people need quick information on something very specific or obscure, that's where they go. If they want something more generally consumable, they either search a text walkthrough or find a youtube video. Printed media is important and still has its place as a medium of record, but this just isn't an area where it can reasonably compete with more modern methods.
