It's not that women ignore the fitness of a man they're attracted to. It's often the opposite. They're just more likely to consider other traits (wealth, status, charisma, etc) as compensation for lower fitness.

Men, not as much. Most do not give compensation points for a flabby woman's wealth or status. She typically has to win the beauty and talent competition or she's out...

Believe it or not, women (just like men) can do real damage. A scratch to the eye or a kick in the groin can cause serious damage.
