Its probably the pheromones. Married people tend to have more self-confidence than single people, and confidence is appealing.

Im sure wanting what you cant have also plays a part.

I think your options are:

1. Be very clear that youre not looking for a relationship right now because of life things.

2. Inquire about a no strings attached sex only relationship, because shes totally into you.

3. Change your employment situation (report to hr after doing #1 if she wont let up, change shifts, etc)

Also, when youre washing your hands only wash your palms so you keep the natural oils on the back of your hands.

Kigalas

The switch from a manufacturing economy to a service economy certainly contributed as well, but so did the lack of increases in wages around the country after Reagan disbanded the ATC union which was a bellwether for all unions after that.

The greed of the Boomers and the whole taxes = bad bs led to much more money going to CEOs instead of reinvestment back into companies. NAFTA gave companies license to ship jobs overseas in the name of profits, because screw their loyal workers and their country. Couple that with weakening of antitrust laws, a decrease in apprenticeships and a focus on college degrees as a measure of success as well as people in dying industries refusal to get new skills and you get what we have today. A bunch of people with useless skills and a bunch of companies with nobody skilled enough to do the work. But hey, we have 3% unemployment, so everything looks all rosy.

Its because the US was literally populated by Europes trash and crazies, then they bred. The rich slaveowners then convinced the impoverished white trash that Hey, youre living in shit, but at least youre not black! to give them pride about their impoverished life.

More breeding, slavery ends, slaveowners are the Democrats, Jim Crow laws keep the white trash prideful.

WWII ends, baby boom plus Interstate causes mass expansion of white trash to all parts of America. Television becomes a new fun way to manipulate the public.

Fast forward to the 60s - Martin Luther King Jr. tries to get all poor people to band together so he gets murdered by racists wanting to keep the status quo. Civil Rights happen, Democrats and Republicans switch sides so the racists move to the Republican side, social issues move to the forefront instead of economics for the Democrats.

Pat Buchanan decides to divide the nation in the 70s for political power reasons which sets the Republican agenda in stone, things progress, second baby boom, Democrats make the cities decent while Republicans keep doing their manipulation of poor whites.

Reagan was a feel good puppet who destroyed union power, Clinton decided to play nice with Republicans which allows them to push their agenda in the 90s including work requirements for welfare and removing the divide between investment and commercial banks.

Enter 24 hour new cycle, even more manipulation of the public, W continues things with the now massive support of the religious right (descendants of the crazies), 9/11 happens with W asleep at the wheel, Afghanistan invasion, propaganda changes the focus to Iraq because stupid people, Iraq invasion, hooray for war, boo for war, social media gives idiots a microphone, slight Democratic resurgence.

Economic crash, Obama elected, 24 hour news and social media manipulation go into overdrive, jobless recovery happens so Republicans can make Obama and Democrats look bad, more social manipulation, Trump elected.

TBH they might've just not noticed the "THE ONION.COM" above the headline on their first take.

Like thats any excuse. And yes, its only because theyre idiots. They go to school, but get told by their parents or pastor to ignore what theyre saying and only put the right answers on the test but not learn the information, because its those liberal elites trying to fool you. So they dont learn to think critically as a child, and then are easily fooled into believing whatever they read or hear and cant differentiate between truth and tomfoolery.

But hey, thats how its designed, and it keeps them believing the nonsense spewed from right-wing news outlets, thus keeping them in their voter base.

If the US hadnt been populated by Europes trash/crazies maybe this wouldnt have happened, but history is history.

Or as Rush put it in Witch Hunt

The night is black, without a moon
The air is thick and still
The vigilantes gather on
The lonely torchlit hill

Features distorted in the flickering light
Faces are twisted and grotesque
Silent and stern in the sweltering night
The mob moves like demons possessed
Quiet in conscience, calm in their right
Confident their ways are best

Oh
Oh
The righteous rise
With burning eyes
Of hatred and ill-will
Madmen fed on fear and lies
To beat and burn and kill

They say there are strangers who threaten us
Our immigrants and infidels
They say there is strangeness to danger us
In our theaters and bookstore shelves
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves

Quick to judge
Quick to anger
Slow to understand
Ignorance and prejudice
And fear walk hand in hand

Thats nothing:

The true king of culinary absurdity comes from Lalmanach des gourmands, an 1807 cookbook written by Alexandre Balthazar Laurent Grimond de la Reyniere, a man so outlandish he faked his own death to see who would attend his funeral. His creation was called the rti sans pareilthe roast without equaland it is everything that has made the half-dead art of engastration increasingly popular today: ambitious, ostentatious, and alluringly, inevitably delicious.

His recipe calls for a bustard stuffed with a turkey stuffed with a goose stuffed with a pheasant stuffed with a chicken stuffed with a duck stuffed with a guinea fowl stuffed with a teal stuffed with a woodcock stuffed with a partridge stuffed with a plover stuffed with a lapwing stuffed with a quail stuffed with a thrush stuffed with a lark stuffed with an ortolan bunting stuffed with a garden warbler stuffed with an olive stuffed with an anchovy stuffed with a single caper, with layers of Lucca chestnuts, force meat and bread stuffing between each bird, stewed in a hermetically sealed pot in a bath of onion, clove, carrots, chopped ham, celery, thyme, parsley, mignonette, salted pork fat, salt, pepper, coriander, garlic, and other spices, and slowly cooked over a fire for at least 24 hours.

Oh, Im well aware. About 10 minutes away from me is where they make Jacks, Tombstone and Digiorno frozen pizzas. I remember when the whole outfit changed hands from Kraft to Nestle about a decade ago.

Theres a pretty good listing of the others here:
