the site seems to be having major issues doing that automatically right now

I think the 4-match-a-day thing killed Kaxon's update script and he hasn't had the time or found a way to fix it...(yet?)

Yes, any way you could list this somewhere for us Morgoth, pretty please? We use it for The Show and also on the Board 8 Wiki match pages post-Contest, it's my favorite way of determining what was actually an upset and by how much. (Since bracket picks are often wildly outdated by the time later rounds arrive.)

TRE's been generating them by hand for us so far which is okay but it would be nice to save him a little time.

It's not setup for 4-ways (and it's not as clean as I want it to be) but for duels it should work properly on the individual match pages now...

On the website archives, if you replace the type with "special" (e.g. http://oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k18&type=special&match=48 ) you can now see the standings on a points-vs-average basis...

I know it's often requested as a way to compare people who have missed matches so I've thrown something together quickly... I might find a way to make this permanent during the of-season

It's because the script that updates the predictions didn't run or possibly wasn't redirected to the new topic to scrape for data.

Just a quick note for those interested in the process, here's how the different pieces work :

Predictions
Pages are saved manually, uploaded and processed there "manually" (i.e. you have to run the "prediction" script for each page). There's no manual data entry of any kind but none of it is fully automated...
You can actually see the timestamp of the last post processed on the predictions page (There's a link on the main page of the site, also directly at http://oraclechallenge.com/index.php?file=predictions) where we can figure out that the previous topic is all included but none of the current one is...

Results (GameFAQs results)
There's an automated scraper script that picks up the results automatically (I believe it's 5 minutes after the matches end), that script is why we're seeing results for those matches even though the predictions were not up-to-date

Results (Oracle scores)
This used to be fully dynamic but it was the main reason why the site performance became really horrible. All scores and rankings are now pre-processed and stored through a database script. The scrapper above calls this script after the results are updated. In cases like today (where predictions will be updated after the results), it will need to be launched manually...

I can't remember how the python scripts run or if they will need to be rerun but it seems the match update script ran but the prediction scraper did not.

Yeah, I noticed the differences too, I have to go through everything to figure out where the difference comes from....

EDIT : Actually I think I found it, give me a minute....

There was a page that did not run properly....now most everything looks fixed....

We still a few numbers off, I'll have to look at the detail as these are usually new alts that were caught manually by TRE but that the site does not have...
