Post-timeskip Eren is the first time I've actually liked the character. I've always enjoyed when the main character in a series starts taking up villainous traits, and Eren's been feeling like Magneto for quite a while.

Man in the Mirror was always main example for why I don't like Gold Experience as much as other Jojo's stands. Its abilities are way too broad, and it sort of just does whatever it needs to at any given moment. The explanation for how he cured Purple Haze's virus sounds like a player in a tabletop campaign rolled a 20 on a check they had no business passing, and the DM has to come up with a scenario on the spot to justify it.

Purple Haze looked really cool though. And the next fight is my favorite fight in all of Jojo, so looking forward to that at least.

IIRC Hes made this same type of topic about Dark Souls before giving up immediately in Undead Asylum and calling it a shit game.

I feel like videos should help a bit more with certain questions about controls. You can also just play through World of Light to get all the characters why learning the game at the same time.

It was a fun show, too bad no streaming service picked it up.

I don't know, it's rare that a non-stand user gets to think their way out of a stand encounter.

I also like Bites the Dust because it's out of the way when it's time for the final battle. Josuke vs Kira is probably my favorite final fight in the series, if only because neither the hero nor villain get a power-up mid-battle that cleans up the rest of the fight. If anything, the fight starts petering out (in a good way) after the initial stand rush. It eventually devolves into two losers chucking garbage at each other through a window.

Hunter x Hunter is all about adding restrictions to powers to make them usable/more powerful. The conditions a power has, the better the results are. There's a character that can create time bombs on people that he touches while saying "bomber", but the way he actually arms the bombs is by telling them how to disarm them (basically tag him).

There's also a villain that can steal powers and seal them into a book for later use, but 1. he has to see the power in action, 2. he has to inquire about it, and receive a response, 3. he has to make them touch the cover of the book, and all requirements must be met within the hour the process begins.

Further restrictions include the fact that he has to have the book open to the page he sealed the power to, the power only works as long as the original owner is alive, and the book must be held in one of his hands, so abilities that need both hands are a no-go.

It feels like a scam finally exposed. No ones best friends nor wants to even do it anymore.

I mean based on what I've seen and heard Matt, Liam, and Woolie were all friends and got along.

Pat and Woolie have been friends since University and clearly still are as they will continue to work together, Matt and Woolie were also friends before the channel started, Woolie and Liam worked together in QA and became friends through that and Woolie introduced him to the others then I believe Woolie, Matt and Liam all worked together at another company doing QA. Woolie was asked to be the other Best Friend initially but didn't want to do it so he suggested Pat who agreed. Technically the original two "Best Friends" werent even friends at all when they started the channel they just knew each other through Woolie and I believe didnt even particularly like each other at that time. Just based on their histories Pat has always been the least close to the others (minus Woolie) and fully admitted that he and Liam were never more than "work buddies" who at no point were ever hanging out together outside of work.

Liam mentioned in a Resetera thread that "some things were said" between them, or something along those lines at least. It doesn't seem like Pat feels particularly strong about whatever happened, but I think Pat and Paige's names aren't allowed to be typed in Liam's stream chats.

It might be beyond the scope of what you're talking about, but I'm interested in the origins of the character's movesets - not just the special moves, but tilts, smash, etc. I remember closely following moveset breakdowns of Dragon Ball FighterZ characters and remembering what poses are from certain chapters/episodes of the series.

Also, you can totally do all the Confidants in one playthrough, if you choose the right responses with Confidants (or use a guide). Even without following a guide with a schedule, I finished all the Confidants with 4 weeks left, just abuse Fortune's ability every day.

Make sure to get to rank 7 with the Fortune girl ASAP. You get the ability to pay to boost friendship with a confidant without using up time, so you never have to spend time with a confidant unless it levels them up.

Hang out with the Death arcana doctor to get SP-recovery items and accessories that will allow you to finish Palaces in one day (unless the story requires multiple days).

Temperance Rank 10 lets you occasionally skip class to do other tasks, so focus that one as well.

I believe it's no longer possible to level up the Sun confidant after November, so get him done before then.

Make sure to get the social stat-boosting juice every Sunday at the underground walkway area. Using money instead of time to boost stats is a better investment.

Make sure to always have a book on you. On certain days you can read on the train, and books can either help you boost stats or unlock new hang-out spots.

Make sure to get any questions in class right, even if you have to reset if you mess up. Don't squander opportunities to boost social stats.

Haven't played since the game came out, but this is what I remember.

I think Liam reiterated that he and Pat weren't friends. I'd heard he mentioned it on his stream at some point in the past, but it became obvious when Pat tried to tweet at him about Warframe when he was streaming it.

The thing is, "Two Best Friends" was always supposed to be a misnomer. Matt and Pat weren't particularly close when they first started on Machinima (Pat was Matt's second pick for the pilot episode) and they only became friends after the fact. I think they were always both better friends with Woolie than with each other.

Didn't know things were that sour before all this, but I've always noticed on the podcast that they never talked about the same things besides new mainstream films. I thought it was always a difference between tastes, but I guess they got tired of each others' personalities after a while too.

I was a bit behind on videos, but I guess I don't have to catch up anymore.

It isn't great, but I sort of had an idea that this would happen. I remember it getting really awkward during a Fisticuffs when Pat called Matt out on pushing his "gully gully" thing, and Matt getting upset by it. Pat and Woolie were my preferred pairing these days anyways, so it's good to hear that the podcast will be continuing in some form with them. I believe Liam still isn't particularly fond of Pat either, so hopefully this isn't a sign that Woolie will end up leaving him too. There's more friendly ribbing between Pat and Woolie than any other pairing, so hopefully the new podcast lasts a while.

Summoning conditions almost never dictate a cards effect. Some of the most busted monsters currently are Fusions.

It is recommended that you generally play multiplayer, at least at the end where ideally people have learned how to play.

If you are sticking exclusively to single player, you might be locked out of the best end-game weapons, since it involves hunting a monster with generally 15 other people, and there's a time limit.

From what I understand, Shonen Jump didn't let him write Yu Yu Hakusho the way he wanted, so he ended prematurely. Ending one of their most popular series back in the day, along with Hunter x Hunter volumes selling very well when they are released, means that Shonen Jump sort of lets him do whatever he wants at his own pace. I know they give a similar treatment to Oda (One Piece's author) where he takes a week long break about every month so he doesn't die from overwork, and Shonen Jump doesn't lose its biggest property.

I hope Part 9 focuses on Hamon again, I think nobody has the heart to tell Araki that Stands are played out after what, over 3 decades of them?

Part 7 has an equivalent to Hamon called the Spin, and we got about 7 years of that along with Stands.

I don't know about that second part though, stands can do whatever the hell Araki wants, so I don't see why he would introduce a new power system that's entirely set apart from them. Even with the Spin, it's used to evolve Johnny's stand into newer forms. I wouldn't mind another power system though, as long as stands also remain in some form.

I was wondering why that happened.

I think Pharah's supposed to be half Native American. It feels like they said that to get away with giving her native american-themed skins, but they did sort of confirm it.

We have Talim from Soul Calibur too, I believe. Cant think of anything else though.

It's weird how easy Dark Souls 1 seems once you're used to DS3 or Bloodborne.

It's easier combat-wise but Dark Souls 1 has way more environmental kills in Tomb of the Giants and Sen's Fortress.

When in doubt, level vit and endurance. Before they're at 40 each it's never a wasted level up. Otherwise, if you have a weapon you want to use, prioritize that stat.

Does this show get any better? I watched the first two episodes, and it's kinda funny, I like all the animal jokes, but it doesn't seem like some amazing profound work of art like its fans say.

I've heard people say it's "not a comedy". So far it feels very much like a simple comedy with not much more to it besides Bojak getting really sad sometimes.

Its a comedy - anyone who says otherwise is up their own ass. Its a neat character-focused show, but it doesnt hit its stride until the latter half of season 1.

Depending where you are, you can find $10 ayce places. Not as much variety, but if you're there just for brisket and pork belly, it's great.

Don't fill up on rice.

An animated Metroid would never work, because all the games that people care about have only Samus, and she doesn't talk much at all.

If anyone actually wants a Fire Emblem series, there's the Heroic Legend of Arslan anime (one old series and a recent one), which is basically Fire Emblem down to the main character having a Jeigan unit in his army.

Can't you see Lost Izalith from the Catacombs/Tomb of the Giants? I think that one, or Undead Parish/Blighttown having shortcuts into Firelink Shrine.

I'd say that seasons 1 and 3 are better than 2 (besides the Punisher arc) and Defenders. Maybe the suit just makes the show worse, sort of like The Hand does.

Most Platinum games shine more on higher difficulties. I don't know if it applies to Automata specifically, since heavy customization tends to give way to super busted builds, but a lot of those moves you call arbitrary in Bayonetta are more useful in those higher difficulty modes.

Closer in quality to season 1 than season 2 (though the Punisher episodes are the best in the series). Not sure if it's better or worse than season 1, but they're really close either way.
