As promised! I looked through everything and only procured games that are not available in the US (either on the PSX or other systems) and came up with a pretty good list.

These are the games that interested me and either had English translation patches or aren't very dialogue heavy (though a few of these would be way better if the little story intros were translated). Any games that really rely on the script and weren't patched yet got skipped.

Just use a splitter with composite cables. The PS2 component cables actually don't work with every game, and the component cables for the GameCube are hella expensive for no reason (there is no HDMI cable afaik).

The only reason to get an HDMI converter is if your TV doesn't have room for the other cables for whatever reason. You won't see any upgrade in quality.

EDIT: just saw you don't have component hookups, so yeah just get an HMDI converter.

Twin Peaks might be my favorite show of all time, so this is definitely on the list. I am seeing conflicting things about whether or not a translation patches exists though.

Definitely PSX if you can. There's a whole bunch of minor improvements over the Famicom version that make it the definitive versions, including new art, improved sounds, and a manual save feature that makes getting all the endings a breeze. You can even use the PS1 mouse with it if you can get it!
