Just beat Mechathun Priest (Mojomaster Zihi the turn before they used their combo) and Kingsbane Rogue (drew Tirion when my opponent was trying to heal/stabilize) back to back as even paladin, I think thats enough hearthstone for today.

XIIIs correction is what brought you back from the dead, since you gained 8 points on him there. Otherwise it was just luck that your rally pick came from Zeldas division.

So what decks have people been having fun playing so far? Ive been looking for something that clicks for me ever since Mana Wyrm was nerfed and Aluneth Mage more or less bit the dust, and I havent really found it yet. So far this set Ive tried Odd mage, dragon priest, big spell mage and some midrange rogue decks, but Ive been avoiding Hunter.

I guess its fairly similar to the recipe, though I didnt build off of it. I took out most of the 1-cost cards in exchange for some more threes, and some more value cards. It might still need Alexstraza in the future, but its working really well playing as a more defensive deck right now.

Probably not. I think that match is keeping you alive right now, since youre currently 29 points back of SpikeDragon with only 32 points different, and cloud in 149 is 8 of those points.

Free Loa was Shirvallah. Pulled Mojomaster, Halazzi and Zuljin in 68 packs, and Im within 5 of the pity timer for my next legendary. Also got 2x Blast Wave and at least one execute minion as useful epics.

Crafted both mage legends right away since theyre ones I plan to mess with, might craft some Paladin/Warlock stuff later.

Only if mega man wins tomorrow. He has mm going quite far in his loser bracket.

Counterpoint - if Pikachu wins (and even if pikachu keeps winning), no one of consequence makes up those points on him, so who cares?

As far as favorites, I'd probably say SpikeDragon, then dimi at this point - if SecretSquirrel had Link > Mario in grand finals, that bracket would have a good shot too.

That being said, wait until we get Pikachu > Cloud and Zelda > Samus in 145/146 and nobody gets any points there!

Looks like Zelda is clear. Since Samus is right at the border of being out of it but not completely dead, I included that battle again to cover all bases.

With scorcher, some of the difference has to come down to 5 mana being more flexible than 8 mana, right? Its a dead card less often in your hand and you have more mana to follow up.

The warrior spirit that was revealed a bit ago looks really strong - Spirit of the Rhino, 1 mana 0/3, stealth for one turn, your rush minions are immune the turn they are summoned. I think its the spirit that I like most so far, since it just meshes really well with what most rush minions want.

The mage secret they revealed is going to be annoying too - 3 mana Epic, Splitting Image - when one of your minions is attacked, summon a copy of it. They put a paladin secret in Mage by mistake, thats really strong.

Given the uncertainty of MM/Pikachu right now, I included it in my scenarios for the next two battles.

So what does this mean? Ganon and Zelda have to win out for me to win the Guru? But that wouldn't be possible if you assume Link wins the contest. Also TRE has this same Ganon+Zelda combo but more total points than me, so does that mean he's already eliminated me?

Two things here:
1) the combination listed is for matches that you are guaranteed to be wrong. It assumes that all picks that *could* happen, do happen, and runs every possible combination of winners for the ones that cant. In your case, Zelda is referring to 131, where you have Squall picked. Ganondorf is referring to 129, because...
2) one of my checks is off for the losers bracket - it thinks that Ganondorf is not a valid option for 129 even though hes still valid. It doesnt impact scores, since the list of valid winners for that match is generated by a different function (in the correct way). But every bracket that has Ganondorf picked in 129 will show up as that match wrong in this file.

Also, it terminates if it finds a scenario where you win, so basically its more useful for stuff like Monika pickers, where someone still alive has a bunch of guaranteed wrong picks, where you can see it iterating through.

The Druid overkill card is pretty decent - maybe not broken enough for constructed, but its high power, and maybe fits in a big Druid with Gloop Sprayer?
Oondasta looks fantastic - theres the obvious Hunter synergy, allowing you to fix any beasts you draw early in a Kathrena deck, as well as Zombeasts. Druid and maybe Warrior could have some synergy too. Theres also just generic synergy with Charged Devilsaur and Witchwood grizzly.
Shaman legendary is fine, doesnt seem like one Id be disappointed to pull
Mage hero power package seems like its potent if you can get it to go off all at once, but thats a lot of low power cards for not a whole lot of payoff. The Spirit making your hero power into shooting star seems overcosted but maybe fine against aggro?
They finally printed a discolock payoff card! I still dont think it will be any good. 1 mana/discard/2 damage whirlwind is nice too. If they print a low cost card that does things when discarded I might be convinced though.

Turns out it had Match 111 picking Luigi as the winner when I had Master Chief advancing.

I double checked, the rest of the Guru Entry for my bracket is correct, just that one last mistake. Sorry guys.

No difference, you're basically all-in on Sephiroth advancing at this point anyway, 4 points isn't going to make a difference in that.

Edit: PSI_NESS is actually eliminated by corrections before division 7+8 (by SpikeDragon). Oversight in my program's shortened output since it was straight up, with no future errors/conditions to account for (and I forgot to put shortcut output on that branch).

Picking Sephiroth > Mario, and then winning two rounds in winners after that is more than enough to keep you alive, you're not dead yet.

Please re-check your bracket, the guru site somehow has you with Sephiroth winning in both the winners and losers bracket (with Mario in neither), so it's still possible that the answer is never.

Ganondorf and Pikachu seem to have their divisions locked up, let's look at Divisions 3 and 4:

Card reveals start Monday the 19th, and end Wednesday the 28th, with pre-release being the weekend and release on Dec 4th. Looks like its really compressed this time around.

They also mention 6 free packs, a random free legendary Loa on login, plus their two Spirits.

Elimination non-update: I made a bad guess last night and ran my program assuming a Bayonetta win. I dont really have time this morning to compile the output for Geralt, so eliminations for Division 7+8 wont be posted until after those battles have started.
