He wanted me to take yesterday off from work. Did, that and kept the trip a secret. Well, as much of a secret as he could since I knew freeways and points of interest. When the GPS said I-5 South, I knew it had to be Disneyland or Knott's Berry Farm. We get in the park, walked to the castle and go to the side. (Those proposals you see in front of the castle are lucky or require bodyguards since you ain't stopping foot traffic there). There he proposed to me, he was obviously nervous, but I said yes. After that, he brought receipts and ticket stubs from our first few dates and outings. Some of which I was surprised was that long ago. Then spent the day at Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth...minus the crying children at every corner and a stoller every time you turn to the side. --- |
