Yeah, tell me again how you can play microtonal music on a piano.

It requires tuning, which is difficult, but there is also the fluid microtonal piano... so... yeah, you do it by doing it and it can be done

There isnt much like it honestly... I think its originality coupled with its popularity shows the talent inherent in queen.

As far as pop music goes and the structure of pop music, there is not much like it.

PreacherBeelze

Targeting gender studies here shows an intense ignorance and a desire to highlight one field as sub par in this manner.

What do these fields have in common?

Chemistry? Physics? Biology? Gender studies?

If you guessed they all had fraudulent papers published in major journals that passed peer review, highlighting the inherent problems with scientific research and rigor in terms of analyzing new discoveries...

Congrats, you win.

Anyhow, no shit... some people published some fraudulent research... ok, welcome to the debate started back in the early 1990s, its be great if you caught yourself up a little further than cherry picking fields you dont like. Right now? This shit is way behind the curve. Mining peer reviewed journals that have debunked or nonsensical published data? Is fun... mining it and looking for one specific field and only that field?

Thats disingenuous, and kind of lazy, as literally every single scientific field you can think of, has had this problem.

From cold fusion, room temperature superconductivity, to gender studies.

1 time.

Suburban house party at some random kids house, no one I knew knew whos house it was, only where it was.

Lots of booze, pot, and probably more though not in terms of myself... got there, you could hear it about 2 blocks away, in a pretty large development... luckily, parking was scarce (due to how many people were there... so we had to park far away. naturally the neighbors called the cops, I would have if I were them now...

Anyhow, was only there maybe 45 minutes, enough to drink half a mad dog 20/20 bum wine with my friend, and we had some pot on us...

Drunk and high, on the couch watching people in the pool, we heard its the cops!!! and cops came in with flashlights, two cars outside flashing lights. We bolted out the back door and beeline for the woods, went through the woods... walked through the woods keeping an eye on the cops, noticed that they had checkpoints set up on both ends of the street nabbing kids.

Thats about my extent with running from the law.

1. Most of the art is worth the money it is because of who made it. If you found a piece of garbage doodle that Picasso did when he was 6 years old, it would probably be worth 30 million at minimum.

2. A lot of these auctions are for charity. Most the money gets donated. The artist doesn't get all of it. The guy who bought it gets a nice tax write-off.

Id make it so that Peter Parker has just lost his powers, and he needs to rectify his feelings on issues that are spiraling out of control for him (bosses of a sort). An open world NYC with a stamina meter that drains quickly, and a cash meter that needs enough for rent, food, subway cards and whatever else you might want.

Grief- he has to make amends with the person who killed Uncle Ben in a long drawn out conversation driven QTE. First you have to take interesting photos through the open world city and sell them to the daily bugle. You need to make enough money to buy a bus ticket to the prison 3.5 real life hours away.

Confidence- you need to assuage Mary Janes reservations about your not being physically available for her when she needs you, like going to see her shows on broadway. You have to convince her you really enjoyed her performance at the off broadway show that is objectively terrible and too long.

Education- you need to pass an actual advanced physics course in the game. Sitting through a series of lectures followed by a series of tests.

Helping your aunt- she is having money and health problems and youll have to raise money so she can keep her house while you figure out a good home that you think you can afford.

Each of those compromise the game with little side quests like hold the elevator door and give directions to lost delivery boy.

The game ends with a cutscene where you dawn the Spider-Man costume on top of a building, gear a siren, and leap off to start chase... then it fades to black and says the end.

None of that money went to her. She painted and sold that in the early 90s when she was in art school.

I didnt say that it did and Im more than aware. The record is the highest selling price for a living female artist... what that does do for her is make it so that every piece she does after and has done before goes up in value.

She isnt hurting any from that sale, at all.

Banksy once sat outside of the metropolitan museum of art on the sidewalk with other artists selling his stencils for $50 a pop.

It in itself was a piece, and they went up in value by a shit ton of money, obviously.

I like banksys ideas a lot of the time... hes funny, and rips on the art world... which I like as it deserves it.

Anyhow, Jenny Saville just shattered some records herself recently with a 9.3million solar sale at auctions... highest price for a living female artist

One of Francis bacons pieces sold for like 236million.

Art is funny, for the 1.4million dollar banksy, its less about the work itself as much as its about all of his work cumulatively, plus, this became much different and inherently more valuable after the shredding.
