As a non-American I never really saw the appeal of Sanders. He didn't really seem to have much to say about militarism and foreign policy. Which should be most non-Americans primary concern.

his foreign policies were functionally isolationism. people love to point out he voted against the iraq war, but it wasn't because he had super foresight and could see cheney and his administration were pushing a false flag narrative; it was because he thought foreign wars were wrong in pretty much all cases.

how that would have played out if he became president is hard to say though.

Probably good for the world overall, if it helped reduce the attitude of the American govt and population that they're the 'world's police'.

I think if they go a medieval Britain route then Robin Hood would be a more obvious choice for an Assassin. Regardless of who it is though, that era and setting is definitely top of my list for what I want the next game to be.

It's either that, or I'd love for them to so an Odyssey style spin off, except it's actually modern day. I love the modern lore aspect, but it's a shame it's only ever done in small chunks. Would love a proper, modern world to explore etc.

Hell, just watch Man of Steel. Again, it hits spot on about the power of choice which also, again, flies over people's head. Sucks so much not to understand these basic stuff about Superman.

What I like about vs. The Elite is how it really showcases just how powerful Supes really is, how much discipline and effort he extends in pulling his punches. It ties in with the other plots of how he struggles with alienation, not really belonging etc.

He has to let himself get beat, show he can be hurt, even when the reality is he could basically destroy the earth in a heartbeat. Otherwise, he'd be seen as a monster or a god. He'd be further alienated than he already is.

It's also why Luther is his main villain. The human who represents that one section of society who will always distrust and fear him.

That thread has over 2k comments and the top one has nearly 1k upvotes. The discussion is overwhelmingly in praise of the film. I'd hardly say nitpicking two comments (out of two thousand) that only have 2 upvotes each, highlights how 'cancerous' the Reddit discussion is.

The only time I felt like there was a grind was between 1-5 because the first misthios I came across was level 5.

It's been fine since then. I'm actually disappointed that there's so much to do that I've hit the level cap and I've still got about 1/3 of the map in shadows and gave up systematically cleaning up all the locations and objectives once I got to Athens.

I love that Americans are so defensive over guns and their 'freedom' that they can't see the irony of turning their school system into some kind of military dystopia, with cameras everywhere, armed guards, metal detectors etc.

The fact is, America is both unique in their gun rights and amount of mass and school shootings. Do the maths.

There's subs called moviedetails and tvdetails. They were actually pretty interesting at first, but now half the posts are where the kind of detail is incredibly obvious and in your face and everyone is getting into a massive fit over it.

I'm English. Most of my paternal family are from the Lake District. One side can trace the name back to a bandit clan that used to live on the borderlands of NW England and SW Scotland.

Maternally we're mostly from the NW and the Pennines, but I also know that one of my great grandfathers was a Blackfoot Native Canadian. My great grandma moved to Canada, met and married him and then they moved back to England not long after.
