Greatest issue with these games is that I can't stick with one character long enough. I've never beat the main quest in any of the three.

My Oblivion Dunmer Assassin (who actually had a good-looking face if my memory is forever remains in that Mage Tower for the Thieves' Guild inside my old 360 hard drive. I started an Altmer Mage in Oblivion that I got some progress on haven't touched.

My Altmer Mage in Morrowind got a good deal through the main quest but I had to abandoned the save as I no longer desired to use the graphics overhaul as I'm pretty close to being a purest. I had a Dunmer Warrior that was pretty established with Redoran and the Temple but I have no idea what possessed me to delete him.

And I simply have too many Skyrim characters to count.

It's because Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction created the whole LOOOOOOOOOOT aspect of the series that overwhelmed everything else about it.

Diablo 3 was never meant to be a dungeon crawl with thick atmosphere ambiance unlike previous two games, unfortunately.

That, and add in Blizzard's perchant for making the player an over the top super hero these days.

No he wouldn't. As has been stated, there have been incidents of it occuring. In the one I was talking about the police were performing a legal search warrant but because it was no knock the black guy got off with his self defense defense.

And are you seriously saying he should have just let her kill him and not fought back?
I'm not saying that fighting back is/was wrong, but that the victim would be crucified for it.

This was the guy who bought a steak with 30 shots of tequila and Steam games while lying to his treasurer that they were campaign expenses, yeah? He constantly overdrafted his bank account while going to parties and golfing, gave his wife a salaried position in his own campaign, and tried to schedule an inspection of a US base in Italy as a cover for going on an expensive vacation there then said, "fuck the navy," when they couldn't arrange the date he wanted.

Clearly the system is people are held accountable.

GOG needs to cut some deals with Microsoft to get the MechWarrior games, godammit.

None of those have gotten any support past their intended OS's either due to Microsoft not caring, Microsoft being protective of its IPs and not wanting to hand over selling rights to GOG, or some legal fuck up with the long defunct FASA.

FASA is synonymous with legal fuckups.

Or that Piranha is suppressing any usage of the IP other than their own like they did with Living Legends and the MekTek free download of MW4.

Roy is definitely garbage until endgame. Eliwood is a way better lord, although his promotion weapon sucks.

Javelins and a horse are always good. He gets more screwed by having crappy stat caps. 24 speed, same as Generals and Hector? Blech. And they decided to copy/paste the same stats to Ephraim.

Then again, FE7's enemies are pretty slow but it's still a shame to see him so weighed down by his legendary weapon. It's only for a single chapter, but still.

I'd really only be interested in Barbatos, Exia, and maybe the Epyon. >_>

There's something about designs that don't stick with the "beam rifle, shield, two beam sabers" paradigm. Kinetic, physical weapons are always better. IBO hit just about every thing I like in a mecha series. Maybe it's due to my love of BattleTech and IBO is pretty close to it, at least the closest a Gundam series is going to get to it.

I liked how Trigun dealt with this trope deeply.

Vash is superhuman and could find ways to defeat bad dudes without killing them...until he couldn't. Monev guns down an entire street of innocents (including children) then it's made clear that Vash could've used the gun hidden in his prosthetic arm to kill Monev at the very beginning, but he didn't and has a freak out.

Vash is really only allowed to practice his absolute moral code because he's superhuman...and has horrific scars to attest to it.

Wolfwood, an ordinary guy, dies trying to emulate Vash by sparing his opponent (granted, said opponent was going to let him go but Knives mind-controlled him into shooting Wolfwood).
