So my general feeling is... it's Dragon Quest. I don't expect it to reinvent the wheel but I'm not sure what's changed in terms of quality-of-life gameplay changes. The pep system is kinda suspect because there's no real control over it that I've seen (or maybe they explained it and I just wasn't following). The story is kinda boring and the cast isn't super interesting so far. I generally thought the introductions to the DQVIII cast were much, much better. The game is gorgeous, though. That's for sure.

I just did the silver cup in Gallopolis (I get it!) and unlocked some cool armor for the protagonist. Can the fun-size forge upgrade it so I can keep wearing it for a while because I like it more than the default look for him? I also made Serena a belly-dancer and I'm super happy about that.

Not really. They'll probably keep SAYING it, so the lies and fearmongering are still there, but if anything those were going to get even more extensive if they lost the house (There's no way they were just going to give up and shut up, come on), and while the voters might take it as validation, the politicians are rather likely to start freaking out hard.
