Kosmos lost because she fucking shouldn't have been here in the first place. Ellie and Aqua would've kicked her to the curb had it not for all the cheating and this site's weeb bias. If a great protagonist like Shulk lost to Sub-Zero, who's not even the protagonist of his game, would you all honestly expect a star like Ryu to lose to a nobody like Kosmos?

I had no idea who Aqua was except seemingly a Kingdom Hearts character (from the art syle).

I know exactly who KOSMOS is. She is way more recognizable to me.

Kosmos is NOT more well known. The game she's from is obscure and niche and exclusive to one old console. Aqua is from a game series that built up quite a reputation and presence, and games from the whole series are on so many consoles. I've knows of Kingdom Hearts and Aqua for many years now, but I've only heard of Xenosaga a few months ago and only due to some annoying nostalgia blind fanboys. First, her game is relatively low status within its series. There are a lot of people who only played KH I & II and never bothered with the "spin-offs." This limits the size of her audience. You play as Aqua in the final and secret episodes of birth By Sleep, so she definitely stands out in that game. Aqua's also like the only playable female in the whole series. She's even playable in BBS 0.2, and will have a big role in Kingdom Hearts 3. Said game has been hyped for over a decade, and even more hyped over the past 5 years. How can anyone be apathetic to it?

Any if everyone's being shallow and we're going by attractiveness, Aqua is a million times more attractive than Kosmos the lifeless sex doll. Aqua has everything going for her, she should be winning in every sense.

What other reason could there be huh? Is it the Disney characters? Disney characters are some of the most nostalgic characters you can imagine; and I thought blind nostalgia always wins on gamefaqs. Does gamefaqs hate Disney movies because they're made in America? Does the existance of American characters and IP's somehow make Kingdom Hearts "less weeb"? And only the weebiest of the weeby weeby characters win on gamefaqs? Please tell me this isn't true; I knew gamefaqs has no credibility, but this is just absurd.

Judging from how few games are on PS1 classic compared to NES classic, I doubt there's be more than 10 games on a hypothetical PS2 classic. And if it does happen, I guarentee that Xenosaga will never be considered. Aqua is a beautiful, strong character with a relatable personality. She has many cool moments in her game where her character shines through. The video game IP from 2001 she is from is highly successful well known and relevant, having an extremely hyped over a decade upcoming title coming soon. Said game is made in Japan, is an RPG, and has characters from Disney Movies and Final Fantasy games, of which very few people are not familiar with. And for the shallow folks out there, she has a slim waist, large breasts, stockings, and is showing her bare back. She's pretty without it detrimenting the other aspects of her character.

Kosmos is literally just a sex doll with no personality from a dead, irrelevant game no one's ever heard of.

Even taking into account Gamefaq's skewed biases due to being run by weebs, Aqua checks all the boxes for "victory" around here. An attractive woman from an old game that's 17 years old, an RPG, made in Japan, and with characters from other IP's that everyone loves. Her game is even actually relevant unlike the other one. It's sad that characters from video games that aren't made in Japan seem to automatically lose here; if this was any other website, Ellie would've won. Literally every character in this tournament should beat Kosmos. But Aqua? She SHOULD have this in the bag.

So what BS reason is going on this time that Aqua isn't winning this "tournament"? It makes no sense, no matter what type of logical system you use.

I am never going to play Xenosaga. Even if I miraculously stumbled onto a PS2 on my own and someone game me a copy of the game, I would refuse. That game has become an object of pure anguish to me. If I did play it, I would be bitter the entire time and not pay attention. What would I even get out of the game? It's not popular or iconic, no one knows about it, I can't talk about it with anyone. There's never going to be any sequels, so knowing what happens will mean nothing. And since the protagonist is Kosmos, a dull uninteresting forgettable overrated sex doll with no personality, I won't be able to stand 1 minute of the game with such an awful protagonist. With a bad protagonist, zero chance of being rereleased because Namco and Monolith Soft know no one cares, it is very clear that Xenosaga is not a great series.

I've already decided a long time ago. I will never have the opportunity to play it, nor would I want to even if I could.

Before there were some exception but even they seems to be dying since Shepard is having huge difficulties against an irrelevant character.

So it's logical KOSMOS is winning, since TLOU is a "recent" game (for Gamefaqs), so it's weak.

It's different in this case because The Last of Us is FAR more popular than Xenosaga, that's not saying much since Xenosaga has no popularity whatsoever.

No she is not. Right after The Last of Us was released, it was rereleased for PS4. And it likely will be for PS5 when that comes out. Xenosaga will never be rereleased. no new gamers will have the chance to play it. It will be forgotten even more than it is now. And because no one can play Xenosaga anymore, no one has a reason to like Kosmos other than "MUH BOOBZ". If you were to see all the girls from Xenoblade Chronicles that have interesting character arcs and personalitites, and aren't just walking boobs, you'd know how much Kosmos sucks.
