I've played a few games with voice acting that starred a silent protagonist. It's usually played off pretty naturally. It's also usually the kase in games where you kreate the character like Dragon's Dogma and Elder Scrolls.

Update as in bugs, typos, and translation errors are gone. All the music is remixed, but still fitting the sprite aesthetic. Voice acting for the important bits. Fundamental issues like name boxes being 4-6 letters long and krappy inventory systems are altered.

Octopath Styled as in all the 2D sprites feel 3D in a pixel world that pops and light sources are so dynamic. The enemies are all well animated and have appropriate voices/sound effects. And whatever obvious new detail I'm forgetting.
