Ship don't sail around looking for people/crafts that need rescued, but if not on a tight time table will have a closer look at strange happenings within that 25 mile line of sight radius (horizon)

But we don't know if the ship was on a tight time table or not.

Now we won't ever know the truth lol. Navy has always been like that. I can even tell you facts that you wouldn't believe just because history rewrote a few things here and there. Not even mentioning the close call issues that go on a hell of a lot. (at least way too much)

temps for sure, but also of course how the water historically behaves and in some cases people could get chomped up by sharks (SF used to have a problem with that there)

However, it will be in my toddler's room eventually.
Also, it somehow improved over time. It no longer flickers.
As far as 3D use, turned out to be minimal af.

As for price, not to justify what they originally asked, but I do remember all flat screens being way more pricey back in those ages.
