Rise = No object

Common Uses of Rise

United States (U.S.) / Estados Unidos is EE. UU. (not EEUU) because it's an abbreviation and the letter is repeated to denote pluralization.

United States of America (USA) / Estados Unidos de Amrica is EUA because it's an acronym. You use the first letter of every word, that's all it is.

United Arab Emirates (UAE) / Emiratos rabes Unidos is EAU because it's an acronym just like the above. You use the first letter of every word, that's all it is.

If the United Arab Emirates could be called "United Arabs" (rabes Unidos) or "United Emirates" (Emiratos Unidos) just like United States of America can be called just "United States" in Spanish then things like AA. UU. would be possible, but that's not the case.

In short, if it's a regular abbreviation and the word is plural then the letter is repeated, adding a dot and a space. Example: EE. UU. <- Estados Unidos
If it's specifically an acronym and not just another type of abbreviation, you just take the first letter of every word and that's it. Example: EUA <- Estados Unidos de Amrica.
