Nah. I'm over the anxiety/depression I can't work because of this trend. You can fuckin' work.

I have a mental health rap sheet longer than your damn arm, and I work. Depression, anxiety, GAD, schizoaffective disorder... I've got it.

He doesn't have anything seriously wrong with him, other than being a lazy sack of shit. Maybe a little bit of workitis, but that's the extent.

I mean, for me personally, I know there are some jobs I'd probably be too anxious to do, but I really want to work. I don't let my mental health get in the way of me working, and I wasn't letting my physical health bother me with working until I hurt my back and really couldn't work.

But your friend just sounds... sad. I don't know how any parent could watch their child sink to that level.

Think of it less as an expectation and more of a time saver, so you aren't trying to calculate the actual totals in your head.

The problem with stuff like that is that it pretty much makes you feel guilty if you don't tip a certain amount. Gratuity has turned into a mandatory practice

Of course it has. Servers rely on tips since we only make at best 2.18 an hour around where I'm at. At my pizza hut, so long as I was making tips, I was on my serving wage of 2.15 an hour. Before we opened, I would make 7.50. And that was really only an hour. But if we were actually paid a decent damn wage, we wouldn't be so tip-reliant.
