Make sure you get all the soap out, don't be doing that double wash crap, you only need to wash and rinse once... not repeat like it says, thats what they say to get you to waste it all and buy more.

It was clearly shown that Atreyu was in fact succumbing to the Swamp's effects and beginning to sink. Had it not been for Falkor, he would have died like anyone else who became overpowered by their grief.

Untrue, he talks to Morla the Ancient one right after this scene, he actually trudges through the swamp of sorrows for a few more hours (from what it looked like)

After he talks to Morla, Falkor comes and gets him.

The actual -real- reason he doesn't die in the swamp of sorrows is because he is wearing the Auryn, the talisman that the Childlike Empress gave Atreyu. The truth was he was suffering from immense sadness / sorrow and would have sunk, the Auryn prevented him from doing so.

Decent democratic candidate, that everyone likes and supports.... says one thing about abortion or something, really trivial, like we all know not everyone beliefs are going to line up with each other 100%.

The beauty of Donnie Darko is that there is a lot going on under the surface if you're willing to look for it, now some folk will talk about manipulated dead this and that with multiple or even all the other characters from the film and I'll just cut to the chase and simply say the only true manipulated dead in the movie is Frank the Rabbit, Donnie Darko's sister's boyfriend who accidentally RAN OVER Donnie's girlfriend.

The girls mother was the one who was stabbed by her step dad, and that is why she had to move into Donnie's town in the first place, and choose the name Gretchen.

Either way, the whole point of the movie was for Donnie to learn or find "love" or rather something worth saving the entire universe for, which he found in Gretchen.

Obviously all the time loops colliding back together has everyone having some sort of dream / deja vu, Frank (the Rabbit) touches his eye that was shot by Donnie, Patrick Swayze character is crying hopefully about to turn himself into the police, etc.

No, there was an explain it all sorta book for Donnie Darko. It's not a time loop. Donnie crossed over into another dimension and dropped an engine onto himself to stop the two dimensions from colliding and ending the world. This isn't even a joke lol look it up. This movie became worse when it stopped being about interpretation and speculation and the Word of God relating to this work explanation is exponentially worse than the classic time loop.

I agree but bear with me here, because even in the Director's Cut with the actual excerpts from The Philosophy of Time Travel, there are still a lot of ambiguous loose ends, like who if anybody besides Frank is manipulated dead, the philosophy of time travel is only there to help the average viewer in the world building aspect IMO, and help understand. It's still ambiguous as to whether Donnie actually choose to stay in bed or if he still thought it was a dream / time loop. There could still have been a million failures where he got out of bed and went to the golf course. It really is all up to the viewer to decide for themselves.

Furthermore this is only my opinion and personal take on the movie... there are a lotttt of theories and speculations out there, check out the Reddit for it if you wanna delve into it but some of them are pretty obviously dumb.

It wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, I'm always flabbergasted when people act surprised that a Skywalker had the darkside (through fear) take over him. Anakin when he foresaw Padme's death, Luke when he foresaw Kylo Ren becoming a pawn of the Dark Side as well, and now Kylo himself, turning to the darkside in the first place.

Another thing that pisses me off is when people bitch about Leia (obviously force sensitive since she mentioned in in RotJ 30 fucking years ago) using her force powers to bring her back to the ship.

Mother fucking Plo Koon was fighting droids in the vacuum of space... FIGHTING... in the VACUUM of space, in Clone Wars which is confirmed CANON mind you.

So why is it so fucking crazy to assume Leia wasn't honing her force powers in her own way for the last 20 years in universe? Cry more losers, the movie wasn't as shit as they make it out to be. They are the same people that have to literally anomalously bully an actress for portraying a character on screen, they did the same thing to both Jake Lloyd (who snapped eventually from it) and Hayden Christensen.

I'm pretty sure a small amount (not all if you've read her biographies) of some of the mental shit Carrie Fisher was going through back in the day was a result of crazy ass fans also.
