I just watched the one where Jesse joins a nursing school to be like Blissey

https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/EP129

She befriends a Blissey but she herself is not given a certificate. Its such a cute moment of character development for Jesse (reminds me of the episode where you learn about Jamess crazy family).

I think I want to find and watch all the episodes about Team Rockets past lol (I also like the Meowth one where he learns to talk)

Mild spoilers for first case:

So I was supposed to guess that the bloody writing WOODS = the ID for a bomb case L10015R

Wtf lol

Maybe I underestimated the difficulty of a first case

Its also ridiculous that a dying person would... leave that as a dying message

Maybe I should just skip every case until the last two, the only ones that matter in this game. Although I do like Blackquil...

Oh gosh.

After a certain scene when Cleo's water breaks during the student protestor massacre I just started sobbing uncontrollably especially given what happens directly after. I cry a lot during some movies, but this movie pains my heart just thinking about it.

A personal anecdote... my mother lost multiple children in childbirth. I cannot imagine what that burden must feel like.

With that said, it's a beautiful movie. Everyone should see it. Just make sure to block off two hours of your life--the movie demands your full attention.

I think some people can tolerate it more than I, but the body horror stuff really, really got to me. Especially when The girls leg falls through a hole and her bone breaks. Her screams are burned into my memory now ;_;

I did, however, enjoy the actual dance academy scenes. I would love to watch a documentary that goes through a normal week at the academy leading up to a performance like Volk.

They were okay

I enjoyed the first one for its setting (Paris), music (Stromae!), and performances. But it was also kinda cheesy, which was the last thing I expected.

I enjoyed about a third of the second episode. I thought the whole boat sequence, starting with John Slattery's (!!) lecture, was intriguing and actually relevant to the theme of the show. But everything else, including the ending, was not too exciting.

I'll give it another go, but if the third episode isn't exciting I'll stop watching.

Oh my gosh

This movie is horrifying. Theres that scene fairly early on where Kand cuts a mans stomach and shows that the mans intestines are SWIRLING AROUND his body, and Kane puts his hand through one wtf

And then the boar scene... oh gosh. I just noticed it had a skull attached to its head too

And then I was physically uncomfortable as I was anticipating that final scene with the alien. You catch a brief glimpse of it in Kanes video and then it appears and towers over Portmans character... if I were in that scenario Id resign to lying there with my eyes closed until I die...

And the music... the music is so incredible. This was probably my most unforgettable movie theater experience but I loved rewatching it at home

While I dont think its horror, I do think its the most unsettling film Ive ever seen.
