| pjnelson 11/12/18 11:44:41 PM #269 | VI (III on the SNES in America) was the last Final Fantasy I finished. It's still my favorite. Everything since then I haven't felt like trudging all the way through. Typically I liked the cut scenes, but the gameplay felt dated to me. XV felt like it went in the right direction, but I started getting annoyed by the random battles spawning behind me while I was still in the middle of fighting twelve other things simultaneously. Worse, those things spawning behind me and attacking me by surprise were often significantly higher leveled than my characters. Kefka should be polling more strongly. --- I'm not here for friends. I'm here for the truth to the best of my knowledge of it, even if it's not what people want to hear. |
