Those are dumbbells. A barbell is a bar a few feet long. The most familiar barbell has room for plates to add to increase the weight.

You can try squats and deadlifts with a barbell. If you want to stick with dumbbells, you can try Bulgarian squats. Also lunges.

If youre new to lifting, Id focus on form to ensure youre doing your workouts correctly. Bad form will lead to injuries. For squats and deadlifts, its important to keep your back straight and not arch it. If you start arching your back, your back is doing the lifting and not your legs.

Yeah, when you make things up, I guess it does sound pretty bad.

I was in town for a different reason and asked if she wanted to hang out. Her bf came along to make sure that I wasn't an Internet weirdo or someone making assumptions. We all had dinner together. They paid for theirs. I paid for mine. After that, her bf left us assured that I wasn't going to hurt her or anything, and she and I hung out for a few more hours. And in the multiple times we've hung out since, the bf didn't feel he needed to come along.

She was then and remains now a good friend.

EDIT: Oh and this was years before she started streaming anyway.

I once drank a whole gallon of milk in a whole day and I could feel my bones expand. At first I thought I was just full from the milk, but my skin started to form stretch marks and I was visibly wider. I didn't know what was happening but I had an uncontrollable urge to drink more milk. I have deduced the reason behind why and how this girl is so fucking hot. For one, she is highly attractive and her cosplay is actually good, appealing the eyes of watchers. Her cosplay also reveals her stomach which is very nicely shaped (not to skinny, not fat, not ripped, but a really natural look, it's intriguing to look at) Her makeup is good as well. It really brings out her eyes and makes her smile a lot more appealing. Secondly, I myself find myself fascinating at the way she moves. It's very smooth and fun to watch. For example the spin at the start that she stops suddenly and kind of leans foreword then quickly straightens out, it is very well executed and goes along with the beat, making it satisfying to watch. I'm most obsessed with the part however when the song says "you got a boyfriend..." and she is kind of bobbing her way gracefully towards the camera. The way she moves most of her entire body when walking is really satisfying. She even does it to the beat of the song. And if also like to point out her shoulder movements throughout most of the video. They add a lot more energy to her movements. On that note, that leads us to my third point: the song and how she utilizes the song to compliment her movement. This song and lyrics itself are not that great, but the woman singing the song sings it well. That however, is not the reason why this matters though. The voice of the actual singer really fits the girl in the video. It not only compliments her cosplay (making it cuter), but also compliments her dancing. As I mentioned earlier, the way she moves is simply satisfying to watch, and part of that is because of how seamlessly and smoothly she move to the song. The spinning at the beginning goes very well with the chorus ending in the background. That little booping of her chest after the spin I mentioned earlier is timed when the rapper makes a rapper sound that transitions into the girls part (what does he even say? Is it like "bite" or "bye" or something? Idek) makes it mesmerizing and satisfying to watch. Her head hoops are very well timed too. When the song says "hit or miss" as well as the "huh" after, she moves her head slightly too the beat that makes it better than had she not of moved her head. And then the little bopping/walking thing she does that I mentioned earlier, is so perfectly timed to the beat and the words of the song. And then my last point, is her facial expressions. Obviously, she has a beautiful face, but there are smaller things she does that bring out some of her key features. The way her eyebrows move is one. She raises them a bit to help her eyes look bigger at some points. Her smile is simply a work of art. It's just very, very pretty and natural. Not much I can say on it. It just makes people happy. Well actually, that wasn't my last point. I found myself watching the video and getting sad that it ended because it's mesmerizing to watch. Than I realized that each time it repeated, I was hoping that it wouldn't cut off at the end, thus rewatching it thinking, maybe there is more. This is probably because the song cuts at the end, leaving a feeling of incompleteness to the video, making me want to rewatch it to find the completeness (if that makes sense) because it stops in the middle of a song and her dance move, you feel as if there is more, making you want to rewatch it under the illusion that there is more... I guess. Omg perfect timing. I literally started typing this at around 30 minutes and it finished when I finished my last sentence. Well than, yeah. I guess I'm done. I might of repeated myself a bit but I was trying to get the point across. I hope I helped people understand why they kept watching the video, and why they feel mesmerized by this girl.

I grew up in an extremely religious household. I was homeschooled, we had no TV, no internet, so I was extremely sheltered to say the least. Well in addition to not getting out much, my mom was rather controlling. Dont get me wrong she treated me and my siblings with warmth and I always felt loved but there were strict routines we had to follow daily. I guess as far back as I can remember my mom sent us to the bathroom every night before bed for potty time, in an effort to avoid any accidents while sleeping. She always made us strip completely naked, shirt and all, so we wouldnt get anything on our clothes. I never questioned it and thought this was how everyone used the toilet. When I was 17 during a trip up to Walmart my whole world changed, however. I had always avoided public restrooms at all costs. The thought of being naked around other people honestly terrified me. But nature was calling hard, I knew I couldnt hold it any longer. I nervously hobbled my way through the door to the mens room, and darted into the first open stall I saw. I removed my shoes and sat them in the corner of the stall, followed by my pants and underwear which I folded and placed a top my shoes. Out of habit I removed my shirt and placed that on top of my other folded clothing. I then sat down on the toilet facing the wall and started to do my business. To my dismay I heard to stall door beside me open and a grunting man rustling with his belt before taking his seat. I tried to block it out and just concentrate on the texture of the painted white cinderblock wall in front of me. The evacuation process was taking longer than I anticipated however and before I knew it the man beside me had finished only to discover his stall had no toilet paper. Yo, he said, can you hand me some toilet paper mines empty. Uh.. sure, I said unraveling a good amount then passing it under the stall. There was a brief silence and then he addressed me again, hey, man... are you naked in there... he said with obvious concern, and are you sitting on the toilet backwards? I was confused with his questions, yeah Im naked but Im not backwards. You facing the wall? he replied. Yes, I said thinking I was clearing up the confusion. So youre backwards? I dont think so, Ive never used a public restroom though so I dont know if these toilets are different. He just chuckled and said, man youre hilarious, before flushing and exiting the restroom. I began processing what had happened as I put my clothes back on. When I caught back up with my parents I told them what had happened. A look of bewilderment came across both of their faces. You have been sitting on the toilet like for all these years? my mom asked as my dad just laughed. Yeah...? Now my mom started laughing too, and they both just stood there doubled over hardly able to catch their breath. Honey, she said, we just did that when you were little to keep you busy... I thought you knew that wasnt how adults sit on the toilet... Well obviously not mom, thanks for telling me now. The rest of the day every time they saw me they would burst into laughter. To this day I still have to catch myself when I go into the restroom and start taking off my pants to sit on the toilet.

The light novel gives a better insight of their world. Goblins are a male only race. Any race they breed with produces male goblin children. Thats why they kidnap and rape women when they raid villages. They build their nests in caves or adandoned structures. People in the world consider goblins low level enemies so a lot of newbie adventurers accept goblin slaying quests but what happens is that these newbie adventurers misjudge how strong goblins. As the LN says, there are 3 types of people who hunt goblins, people who beat them easily, people who get hurt but learn from it and people who underestimate goblins and get wiped out out.

There is another scene in the first light novel that depicts a party of 4 woman adventurers raiding a goblin nest to save a captured woman and losing the fight. 3 of them are tortured while the goblins make the leader watch. Its implied they do horrible things to the leader for 3 days before dumping her body in a river. Just an FYI. It builds up to why goblin slayer only takes on goblin quests.

Im enjoying the LN because it takes a different view of what an adventure is. Towards the end of the novel, goblin slayer and priestess join another party of 3 to clear of nest of goblins located in some ruins. After the fight as theyre heading back to the village, one of the party members thinks about what an adventure means. What they found at the ruins and the aftermath of the fight wasnt an adventure. There was no fun, excitement or gratification of hunting goblins; only empty weariness. As the LN says, goblins were different because they had no reason - only evil. Evil towards humans, evil towards every other living thing. To hunt goblins was to confront that evil over and over again. To hunt them was no adventure and those who chose that path was no adventurer. They were him, goblin slayer.
