That's the standard. The best game worth paying for is called bloons.
I heard that if a bunch of people were jumping off a cliff Kyuubi4269 would too because he when judging something he only puts value on whether others are doing it too.

fuji apples are the only apples worth having. Everything else is trash.

Wow. Apple snob. Impressive.
Someone stating that their favorite apple is some worthless commercial variety would not be indicative of an apple snob. If anything it just illustrates the degradation of society, where people are sacrificing taste in the endless quest of excess sugars so they can become amorphous blobs of fat. Fuji is a commoner's apple, along with Honeycrisp and the like, and anyone who recommends them should be looked down upon as the low class garbage that they are.

Any true apple snob would be referencing one of the heirloom varieties you aren't going to be finding in a supermarket.

However, by "eliminate all of the land", this implies that we're also eliminating the Earth's crust, mantle, and and core. This leaves just the outer core as the outer core is a liquid and technically not "land". So, now, we have massive amounts of salt water, pure drinking water, and outer core just coexisting together and I have no idea what'd happen.
Land is typically defined as the part of the Earth's surface that is not covered by water. While you could argue that when you remove the surface, the ground underneath the surface now becomes the surface and you'd have to iteratively remove the surface, when you strip enough layers that the land is now below sea level, the ocean would submerge it and you should never get below the outer layers of the mantle.

On the other hand, if we "eliminate all of the sea", that's 71% of the Earth's surface now exposed. Mankind will need to find other ways to obtain drinking water, which can be done via mixing hydrogen and oxygen gases and igniting the reaction. However, you've also killed off all fish and water species so a lot of countries will need to find new sources of food. The upside is that you will now be able to transverse the continent on foot, explore shipwrecks and areas never-before-explored by man (and not robot), and mine for minerals.
To permanently remove the sea either the Earth would have to purged of all forms of water, or the Earth's environment would have to change to the point that oceans couldn't form. Either option would likely imply extinction of most forms of life.

I'd say overall you're overestimating the damage of losing land, and underestimating the damage of losing sea.

No. The tribal people of the Andaman Islands have practice a religion that's roughly a form of monotheistic Animism. While the Sentinelese subset are largely an unknown due to their hostility toward outsiders, it can be presumed that what they practice is similar.

The other interpretation of course is essentially impossible to do, and like always he fails to clarify the cost of failing. At which point this poll is stupid and pointless.

I just mean like, how can he REALLY know that I won't die? He was just trying to give me peace of mind, right?
If you get a paper cut you could theoretically die from it if the right scenarios played out. So when you run to the doctor and ask if you're going to die from the paper cut and he says you aren't going to die, he doesn't know that, but he can infer that the probability of you dying is minimal to the point of being able to say you shouldn't worry about dying.

If you have something terminal you're going to die from it and there is nothing you can do about it. But for anything else your attitude plays a large factor into your recovery.

If you had a form of cancer that has a low chance of survival your doctor should of informed you of such. Since he didn't you should trust his judgment and stay positive about the situation. There's nothing to gain from a negative attitude where you assume you're going to potentially die.

Why would anyone bother trying? Your choice of language and rationalization reflect a confirmation bias, and any attempt to argue with you would just cause the backfire effect.

Which to be honest is an issue reflected in a lot of the political topics in this board. It makes me wonder whether people ever actually think that they are going to have an effect on another person's opinion, when it's likely they're just arguing to rationalize and reinforce their own opinion.

Anyway, I have no interest on commenting on the topic at hand itself, as it'd be pointless. For all those who do, have fun ranting I guess.

I'm confused about the point that's trying to make with the link. The predominate sentiment in this thread by those critical of Google seems to be that Google is inherently biased. However, the link concludes that while the search results are slanted towards the left, the evidence isn't strong enough to conclude that there is an inherent bias within Google's algorithm.

anyways, I'm done. Obviously we disagree on a few things, and I'm not going to take this any further than it has gone. You all have a nice day.

I'll just leave you with this. Just because you think something should be done a certain way, doesn't mean others think the same way. Money drives motives. More money can be made from a temporary fix than an overall cure. And I'm just speaking in general right now. Even assuming a cure doesn't exist. If it did exist, chances are companies would do all they could to profit off the quick fix, rather than the long term solution. Because once the long term solution is revealed, you will start to have competition to lower the price of the solution to the point where big companies won't be profiting anymore.

The problem with conspiracy theorists is that they always think they're smarter than everyone else. Actually, that's what drives conspiracy theorists. It's the need to tell everyone, "hey I know something nobody else does! You guys are all sheep and I'm Aristotle!"

You're not very good at these polls. Way too many of these polls have a really obvious answer, in this case, being invisible to everyone in every universe being far, far, far worse than becoming even an incredibly popular meme.
There are potential upsides to being invisible depending on your personality and on how invisible is being defined. I'd consider how poorly defined the scenarios have been to be a bigger problem. In particular the do this or else ones, that fail to define a time limit for the task and fail to clarify the results of failure, have left certain options to be either terrible or harmless depending on how you take it.
