Likewise, if somebody in their 90s says "colored" instead of "black" I'm going to react differently than if somebody in their 20s refers to somebody as "colored" instead of "black". He may have grown up in different times, but he probably should watch what he says when hes in a position such as the one hes in. Hes not just someones old grandpa who people can ignore. Hes in a position of power. Just because he grew up in a time where stuff like that was normal and ok doesnt mean it is now. And I would definitely hold him to the same standards.
