They withheld Black Cauldron from video for a whopping thirteen years, and it is the last narrative Disney cartoon that has yet to be released on Blu Ray, and if you watch it it'll probably be pretty clear as to why. It's... not great.

GameGrumps Danny said it was good which is why I wanted to give it a try, but yeah it's also quite possible I will not agree with him. I'll find out soon enough.

This movie actually looks pretty decent. Considering it's Sonic, I mean, he runs fast. That's his whole story. And with his revamped appearance I'm looking forward to those speed scenes in the movie.

The human character is whatever, he kinda has to be there unfortunately.

But then you have Jim Carrey, and if anyone was a fan of him in the 90s then I don't see how you can't be excited to see that version of him again. I sure as hell am.

I thought it was an excellent first episode. There was good action, worldbuilding, costume design, and I sure didn't expect that ending. Can't wait to see where this goes now.

First episode of Mandalorian was incredible. He's so cool. And that ending had me a bit giddy I'll admit.

Also there's so many movies that I haven't seen in years, it'll be fun doing a Disney original animated marathon. Some of them I don't think I've ever seen, such as Black Cauldron, and some I only vaguely recall like Sword in the Stone.

I'm what they call a "back-up cook" at Cracker Barrel. So instead of line cooking (which I will never ever do, way too hot and crowded), I'm in the very back of the kitchen cooking all the sides in kettles and ovens, also making the biscuits/cornbread, and I do it all alone. It gets stressful especially when I'm there for 15 hours with no break, but I've gotten used to it. I'm kind of like the unofficial boss of the position too which is nice, allows me to get free food and such.

Recently I actually left the job to pursue moving away to a different state, but with the holidays coming up they're really struggling without me and I respect my GM too much to leave now. I can last a couple more months. I'll be doing another 80 hour week for Thanksgiving like last year, I'm excited for that paycheck.

The thing that's kept me there for over four years now is (some of) the people for sure. It's been like my second family and it's extremely difficult to leave. It needs to happen soonish though if I ever want my life to progress.

Dewgong - Slightly better than Seel

Golisopod - Thought he was cool when I first saw him but otherwise he's not that remarkable, and he doesn't look like a water type either. Admittedly not sure what bug he's based on

Clawitzer - Love this dude's design, he's just a cool lookin' giant claw with a body attached to it. Never gotten to use him though since I worship the moon.

Primarina - Least favorite of the the water starters, sad to say. It's more disappointing since Primarina is basically made for Contests but those were just a phase so she can't live up to her full potential

It still baffles me that they feel the need to hang onto the plot of the first two movies. Just let it go, there's no way to live up to them, ever. It's not gonna happen. Reboot the damn series completely, get rid of John and all that shit and just make a movie about fighting robots with brand new characters and a brand new story.

Granted they have to be creative for that to work so I can see the issue there

Mega Slowbro - I can't tell if Slowbro enjoys being devoured alive or if that's a look of complete distress on his face. Going with the latter, somebody please help the poor bastard already.

Omanyte - Never really given him too much thought, since I don't like snails, but Omanyte is at least cute. Unlike snails.

Araquanid - Apparently the water bubble on his head is used to capture and store all manner of things, whether it be prey or his very own trainer. That's gnarly.

Sharpedo - It highly highly (too highly) upsets me that this is the only shark water pokemon, and it's not that great. Utter disappointment, give me more sharks!

Quagsire - Ehhh he's fine I guess, just something about him I don't care for... it's the beady eyes

Feraligatr - The gen 2 starters are funny since none of the final evos are all that spectacular. That said, Feraligatr is the best of 'em, Typhlosion is alright and Meganium should drown in a swamp

Blastoise - Blastoise is fuckin' cool and that's all there is to it. He has nerf super soakers on his back what more could you want

Pyukumuku - I have no clue what this thing is. Evidently it attacks by throwing its guts at you, so humans retaliated by making a game of throwing them back into the sea

Cramorant - Twisted. That fish it gulps can't be another pokemon as someone somewhere would consider it too violent, which means it's just a plain ass fish. It's always been weird to me that those exist in the pokemon world

Magikarp - Magikarp Splash mini-game is the only worthwhile thing this fish has ever done, otherwise toss it back into the water

Lumineon - This is one I deem a basic bitch fish. Although as far as basic bitches go, Lumineon is among the prettier ones. One or two of 'em make a perfect addition to any size aquarium

hey NFUN shut up (actually I was talking battle effectiveness in regard to Swampert, but aesthetically I prefer Wooper)

Wishiwashi - Possibly the most creative design of the water pokes? I'm a huge fan of teamwork and this Pokemon practically represents teamwork

Lapras - Every new gen I hope for Lapras to get an evolution, although I kinda see why it doesn't. Lapras is already perfect.

Jellicent - The boy has a sick mustache and the girl has an award winning smile, but I'm afraid since she's a ghost it's probably just a trick to steal your soul so I'll stick with the mustache jelly

Mareanie - Honestly never looked too closely at this guy before, had some kind of aversion for whatever reason. Looking at him now he's oddly cute, and still creepy, the more I look the more I like

Gyarados - The OG, the one that taught kids all around the globe that just because you're a puny piece of nothing doesn't mean you won't someday grow up into a kickass dragon serpent that can terrorize all your enemies

Squirtle - I'm trying to not give into nostalgia but when you consider the Squirtle Squad was a part of my childhood that kinda becomes impossible. However, I can at least say that Bulbasaur and Charmander are > him

Bruxish - I'll be true, this fella freaks me out. Although admittedly I'm just highly unfamiliar with him, originally brushed off as just another basic fish. After taking a closer look he's actually quite mesmerizing, but yeah also terrifying

Ludicolo - He's got some decent dance moves on his own, however when teamed up with Miror B they reach the status of legend... but also, this is literally the only option you have for water/grass which is absolutely ridiculous I say

Greninja - Water/dark ninja pokemon seems like a perfect concept, but I just can't get over the fact that his scarf is his tongue. It's gross to me. Fun as hell in Smash bros though

Octillery - Another one that I've always wanted to like more than I do, seems cool but doesn't impress me much

Dewott - Absolute best of the water starter mid-evos, he's so damn cute! Augh, I want one in real life, or I just want a pet sea otter either way

Totodile - Ash's Totodile had a great personality so for that I'll always adore this little guy

Pelipper - Bleh, underwhelming to me, but there are virtually no other choices if you wanna have one Pokemon both fly and surf... which I mean doesn't matter anymore but still

Poliwhirl - His swirl still does a good job of mesmerizing me, great design and I will defend it to the death

Wooper - Best name. The way they shout it in the anime is my favorite, they always sound like they're having a blast

Buizel - I don't care much for weasels in general but Buizel makes it work, he's freakin' adorable

Empoleon - THE KING. My favorite water starter final stage bc penguins are amazing and that secondary steel type is so damn sexy

Swampert - Probably better than Sceptile, definitely better than Blaziken. Also best water/ground choice since there's not much competition

Vaporeon - Has the benefit of being related to one of the greatest creatures ever created, so automatic top tier... even if it's the bottom tier of eeveelutions

Milotic - STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS 10/10

Starmie - always been one of my favorites for sure though I'm not sure why. I like purple, and it has a shiny gem so that's probably all

Spheal - Seel done correctly

Luvdisc - Almost as bad as Alomomonomola

Crawdaunt - It's sad to me that there aren't many good water/dark choices, but Crawdaunt is one of the better ones

Sobble - Hell yeah my boi, choosing him unless that cool af octopus is a water type (although I don't mind redundancy sometimes)

Lanturn - I wanna like this dude more than I do, he's just kinda bland to me even though he's one of the more unique designs... yeah I dunno either
