It's a little basic but the extra strategy of the Umbra special swapping people around keeps it interesting, and the rewards are pretty nice. So does that mean the longer you wait to do the Ordeals, the worse off you are?? It seems to be just based on when the unit was added to the game. Units added in the first book give 2 flowers, book 2 units give 8, and book 3 units (starting with Eir) give 40. There's no reason to believe these numbers will go down over time.
