As much as I enjoyed Link's Awakening I have no need to play the same game again with a different art style (an ugly one of you ask me) and a multiplayer I don't care about.

If they wanted me to buy it again they needed to make a Resident Evil 2 Remake style remake where there was real effort put into remaking the game into a new experience.

I personally don't get, or care, about speed runs. I play the literal opposite way, I slowly explore and inspect everything, and cannot comprehend why anyone would have fun trying to get through a game as fast as possible.

However, I thought using glitches in speed runs was an accepted practice, as I've heard of people doing it for years.

Yeah I'd heard about this, and that the perp basically said he did it because they plagiarized him.

My sibling says he males them rethink their stance on the death penalty. Sibling is overall against it. I'm not sure what to think on that front, kinda feels like the guy is disturbed and snapped. I don't know. I'm not saying that I feel bad for him, to be clear, but unsure how they should proceed. I'll admit I don't even know about the Japanese judicial system or general punishment stuff.

With the information we have now he seemed disturbed, he apparently sent death threats to the studio prior to the attack but didn't say in the threats why. Just that they should die. It was after the attack when he was stumbling in the streets that eye witnesses said they heard him rambling about how his idea was stolen.

Not that being disturbed makes what he did forgivable.

Remember, the EU is dead and purged. Anything set far enough back in Old Republic times would just draw inevitable comparisons to previous EU stories, and people would probably complain endlessly that the new thing isn't exactly like the old thing.

I don't think it matters, as long as it's written well.

The issue is the current time line is kind of at a dead end, with only a few Jedi or Sith around at any time, and then always referencing the original films.

Of course, none of this matters if they're still unable to write a good story.

In short Sword/Shield won't have the data for the Pokemon that don't exist in Sword/Shield by default, so you can't even transfer them into the game from other games.
