So i have no real answer to steel, ice, and dark.

My answer to psychics are also answer to dragons, grater and gyarados with their bites. But Dragonis riskier because of their pseudo legendary status and high likelihood of having electric attacks.
My team ain't so great but I had to compromise for hm moves.

I know I'm 10 years late but I'm I miss the social aspect of a Pokemon playthrough. I remember when I was playing platinum and I had a playthrough topic, I would offhandedly mention something like oh I'm broke as hell right now. Send a shiny Pokemon to RBY, teach it mimic, fight a Ditto, the Ditto will use transform, mimic transform, use transform, the wild Ditto will mimic transform, (can't remember if the transformed Ditto needs to use transform again). Catch the Ditto. When you send it to GSC it will be shiny.

Wow, too bad you can't do this in the VC versions ...I assume

The reason I kept steelix over scizor is because scizor can't learn rock climb. If I had known that rock climb is a post post game thing then I could've been using a pokemon I wanted to be using this whole time

I will say this game feels really unbalanced sometimes. The team rocket base was filled with level 25 Pokemon, the Dragon Gym was filled with late thirties to forty Pokemon

I liberated the radio station and apparently disbanded Team Rocket again. Considering they were ready to come back and we're even calling for their leader, they broke apart really easily. I was pissed off because I thought the director of the radio station was going to give me rock climb something. I'm a little annoyed. Also I've finally been running into different Johto Pokemon. If I ran into Houndour or natu earlier in the game, I would have totally rocked them on my team

So team rocket took over goldenrod city and I'm gonna take them on.

I had to disguise myself as one of them but the ginger kid blew my cover. Ah well just gonna do the usual and raid them.

I will say, that was a missed opportunity. A mission where we infiltrate Team Rocket as one of them would have been fun. And the kid looked kind of cool in Black. I wish that photographer guy was around for a picture

I took on the steel gym. At first it was intimidating . Like the ice gym, I have no counters against it

But then the gym ended up just two magnemites and a steelix. >_>

Not much need to report. Still dealing with a lot of stuff. But I will say that someone did trade in their copy of HeartGold so I had a co-worker bring their DS in and I did a Switchback and now I have a Steelix. I'm still debating whether or not I should have a Scizor but I think my decision is that the only reason I had Steelix was to be an HM whore. If I was trying to be semi competent, then there'd be a Scizor in the team
