True Christians do not promote racial bigotry. It's certainly not in the Bible. In fact, Jesus Himself made an effort to connect to other races which the Jews at the time constantly mistreated. Paul's entire ministry was specifically intended for non-Jewish folks. The list goes on.

The owners of Boone's CampEvent Hall are wrong for what they did here. No Christian who follows the Bible would accept or promote racist beliefs and actions.

You'll notice when the report asks her where the Bible encourages racism, the woman in question flat out refused to answer. It's because she holds false, sinful beliefs and lacks the grounds to be able to defend them.

Just want to make this clear, as this kind of behavior is so disappointing to see.

George Lucas made Star Wars because was inspired by old Buck Rodgers specials

Flash Gordon, not Buck Rogers. Though to be fair, Flash Gordon only exists because it was created as a direct and deliberate rip-off of Buck Rogers.

Though in the case of Star Wars, it's even worse than that. Huge chunks of A New Hope's plot are copied straight over from Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress, and a number of the X-Wing scenes towards the end were almost identical to dogfighting scenes from a WWII fighter movie Lucas watched for reference.

The older you get, the more you realize that everyone was inspired by something. Usually multiple things. Literally every movie, book, band, video game, and so on. Some creators make this more obvious than others.

George Lucas made Star Wars because was inspired by old Buck Rodgers specials. Toby Fox's Undertale was inspired by Earthbound. Pretty much all sci-fi was inspired by Frankenstein in one way or another. Avenged Sevenfold was inspired by Metallica. It goes on, and on and on.

Nothing is truly original. And that's ok. What's most important about the things we enjoy is not where they came from, but how well their creators did with what they were given, and the emotions and memories we gained as a result.

Once we've been thoroughly inspired, then it becomes our turn to give back to the world. It's a beautiful cycle of creativity.

Both Thor and Hulk got the Knucklehead treatment from thr MCU. Wouldn't blame either fan base from feeling slighted at this point.

As long as they do a decent job I'm probably gonna love it. The first Matrix is one of my favorite movies of all time! I also give the 2nd and 3rd movies more credit than most people do. I find them pretty enjoyable and would happily watch them again.

Keanu's acting has no doubt improved thanks to John Wick. Carrie has done well in the marvel series I've seen her on with Netflix.

All we need is Larence Fishburn and Hugo Weaving, and this would be incredible!

Foxx, my advice for you and other outspoken vegans would be to present your beliefs about veganism the way I present my Christianity.

You believe you are factually trying to prevent the unnecessary loss of animal life.

I believe I am factually trying to prevent the unnecessary loss of people to Hell.

Both goals are important to us. We both feel a sense of moral obligation.

But at the same time, I do not make it a point to explicitly harass others with my beliefs. (I'm not saying you do, either.)

Just talk with people who are willing to listen. You will find them, if you're patient. Very little people are receptive to unannounced debates about their way of life, and trying to get them to make huge changes.

Show tact, and tolerance, and expect people to do the same for you. That's how I think these issues should be handled.

I found Agents of Shield to be a real mixed bag. Some clever ideas. Plenty of bad plots/characters. But mostly? Just a whole bunch of mediocrity.

The early seasons practically revolved around Skye/Daisy. To a sickening degree. She was basically becoming a mary-use until they finally put her back in check.

AoS doesn't hold a candle to the best Marvel live action shows like Daredevil, Punisher or Jessica Jones. I'd have a hard time recommending it to anyone, honestly. Mostly feels like a waste of time.

Like other people have said, it takes discipline.

Another motivator is that rewarding feeling you get at the end of the day knowing you got another page or two under your belt.

Maybe it will take some action on your part. Turn off your phone, and don't turn it back on until you're done. Try and choose a time of day where you're least likely to get interrupted. Who knows what else works for you...but you?

You don't necessarily have to write a ton every day. Just make progress.

All I know is that everyone needs to find and make use of a creative outlet. It develops you as a person, and gives you something to feel good about at the end of the day. Doesn't really matter what that is as long as it makes you feel satisfied. It's worth putting in time and effort. Trust me on this.

These are more my favorites because I don't have enough experience in every corner of gaming to objectively pick the single 4 greatest characters.

Mario is an easy pick, both as my favorite, and as someone worthy of the honor.

I'll go with classic Sonic, next.

Pac-Man as a catch-all representative of the arcade craze.

Finally, let's go with Link from Ocarina of Time. So incredibly important to 3D gaming!

Honorable mentions: Ezio auditore, Glados from Portal, Master Chief, Doomguy, Nathan Drake, Pikachu (Probably deserves it more than Link but oh well it's my Mount), Samu s Aran, Donkey Kong, someone from WoW.

A friend of mine and his wife are having a birthday dinner at a local thai restaurant. They're gonna order the hot pot.* They're paying for the dinner. They gave me a casual invitation, along with several other friends.

The arrival time is 5:30.

My problem is that I don't eat that early. I have dinner around 8:00 or 8:30. I can imagine getting myself to eat at 7, possibly. But anything before that is out of the question for me. I won't be hungry, and forcing myself to eat would be likely to make me physically ill. I can't ask them to eat later; I'd never even consider doing that...

I know I'm strange. Most people eat earlier. I get that. Having said that, should I:

A) Make up some excuse, and skip the dinner? I'll miss time with some good friends. But at least I won't be the weirdo siting at a table, and watching people eat in front of him. I'd probably have to explain myself several times and garner an implied sense of judgement from them. (Even though I know they'd never actually feel that way.)

B) Just go. Maybe it's not as weird as it sounds to sit at a dinner table without eating? Plus I'd get to spend an evening with friends, laughing and telling stories.

*(For those who don't know, at this restaurant, you're able to order the hot pot. That's literally a large pot they set down at your table, complete with a gas-powered burner below it. You order raw meat, along with uncooked noodles and veggies. Then you're given little tools to dip the food into the pot. You get to watch it cook right before you eyes, and take it out whenever you want. It's not my favorite way to eat, but it tastes good and it's kind of fun! I've done it a couple times before.)
