I tell my past self that instead of fighting against me, he could print away final results from matches or something and win easy money, not only erasing the future me he wishes to fight, but also winning easy money. If he could find a way to travel forward in time (with no age gain whatsoever, then surely he knows a way to travel back into the past).

I will then tell him that money is not everything, but knowing my 18 y/o self, he would more than likely ignore any advices.

Tales of Vesperia: DE if you like JRPGs, with non turn based combat.

The combat can be rocky at first but after the first part of three the combat starts picking up with skills and artes.
