Everyone does have preconceived notions and beliefs about different people groups including their own. They might be subtle or subconscious but they are definitely there. What is important is to try and be aware of these notions and beliefs so you can see how they influence your behavior and work to correct them.

If you want to label that as "everyone is a little bit racist", fine, but it should be said in the context that everyone can stand to work better to identify their internalized biases so they can address them, not an excuse for your racism.

This is my bottom line: if you're not ready for pregnancy, don't have sex, birth control or not.
Regardless, if you use birth control correctly, the chance of pregnancy is very very low. It's still there, that is why you should only have sex with someone with whom you have a stable relationship. Or if you are not in a stable relationship and there is a pregnancy, own up to it.

I think the problem is with how technology works, If we had very little technological progress in a certain area, then it will seem like not a long time has passed from 2000 to 2019, but if we take a gigantic leaps like the ones we did when it comes to 3D rendering, etc. then just 10 years will seem like a lifetime.

It's kinda like how older people always feel like life is going faster and faster. It's a matter of how much your life changes. The first few years in your life are marked by constant change and no stagnation, so it will seem like they took a LOOOONG time, because of how eventful they were, when in reality it may have just been 10 years. But fast forward to your 30s and you have a stable job, you can go to that job until you're 60 and you'll feel like those 30 years went by in the blink of an eye, since your life has been mostly the same for those 30 years.

I was just reading something about crocodile skin being used to make Vuitton handbags and people were outraged, and then some self-righteous vegetarian posted saying that you're a hypocrite if you protest this but you eat meat.
Like, why? People are on your side for once, instead of gatekeeping, why don't you just appreciate the fact that this appeals to people's sensibilities. It's not even hard to understand why this matters more to average folks than livestock, if you really think about it.
Most people have the perception that meat is an essential part of your diet (I'm not stating this as fact, so please, don't debate this), and livestock is a necessary sacrifice. They don't approve it when animals are kept in inhumane conditions, but they just see meat in the butcher, they don't really associate with an actual animal life. It's easy to not care when we're so distant, and when we firmly believe this to be a necessary evil.

But people will complain about skin being used to make clothes because it is not necessary.

Like, it's simple logic, why do you have to get self-righteous and preachy when people are trying to fight for good causes? Small steps eventually change things. Trying to force everything at the same time just guarantees that nothing will ever get done.
