I think it needs to give at least a suit or some way not to freeze.

I'd say it might be on the other foot, remember, we are talking about something Sonic fighting the Egg Dragoon, versus Kratos Aurion fighting the dragoon. It's a weird situation, but I'd feel the egg dragoon has the advantage in speed, range, and mobility, and well, that's all it needs. Kratos runs out of resources way before the Egg Dragoon falls.

Hmm, in playing some epic battle fantasy 5, I had a thought on Auto-life spells, that could make them still worth having in the game, but making them not broken. There is a status effect called Morale (which is in other games, usually guts or the like) which makes a person's hp not able to be knocked below 1 from damage, or just flat kill spells, as long as the person's hp is above a certain threshhold. (EBF is 50%) Having Auto-life grant that type of power rather than just on death, revive, would make it be viable to exist, because being able to stop random one shot skill is a strong power.

I'm also interested in just throwing together characters from EBF, (possibly a pile of 3's, could see it easily be a 5 if the full team together), and could easily think of some neat abilities that exist in the game as mechanics that'd transfer over well. The problem would be that they'd be a bit clunky because of all their various gear, and a lot based off of having a lot of power tied in customization equipment.

Well, there usually isn't too much about location in general, but the size of the location usually means a lot. The smallest of locations usually favor big hard hitters, and most casters/gunners eat a knuckle sandwich. Waterball was goofy but reasonable, Bubbly clouds should be shot and replaced with whispy woods, and some stages were also just too big (see Shakuras).

And there was no actual arguments done, where the effort, knowledge, and debate skills can change how the fight can go, not to even mention location. Location can completely wreck a fight that should be a free victory for one team. I know in Tom's merc brawl, Neptune got huge value off of her entrance to Celestia map, where it heavily favored long range. There was also the Waterball (easiest kill on vampires ever) and some votes where a team that should have won lost because of picking the absolute worst location for the job.

Note to self, don't post hype videos from a bad Let's Player. People will take him running into things as a sign the character is bad

Yeah, your video was the horribles. You should have grabbed something more like this.

Wouldn't have really changed my thoughts on the fight though, they are quite plodding on foot speed, and I still would be humored enough to try to argue the Dragon armor and weapons would be extremely effective against them, because they are the double dragons.
