All I care about on eBay is that the item I get is the item described.

You always have the option to send a note to the seller and kindly ask them when they plan to ship because you're excited. That can help if it's something you really care about or there are special shipping instructions.

I've even emailed the seller and paypal them more money for shipping because I know they ate some cost and I wanted it packaged good.
