| Mad_Max 11/21/19 6:02:15 AM #2 | Syndicate wasn't that bad. Kinda enjoyed it tbh Wolfenstein, too. Though it wasn't a great Wolfenstein game, it was a decent FPS. I think they fell into the trap of trying to shoehorn some sort of Bioshock-esque gimmick into the game. But it was still fun imho Raven developed another mediocre-level FPS around that same time called Singularity that had a sort of bullet-time/time travel gimmick. It was a pretty solid game though. Liked it more than Syndicate and Wolfenstein, if you're looking for suggestions I might've played Turok, but I have no recollection of it. Liked the older games, so I would've played it were it on my radar at the time. I think I played AvP but don't remember much of it. I'll have to look up gameplay videos to jog my memory. Mostly play on PS4 and Switch, so if a game is on Xbox, PC, VR, etc. I will watch a YouTuber play the game, but usually just enough to get a sense of what I'm missing, not to see the game played through in its entirety. Not sure why you think that just because a school shooting gets reported that means that everyone forgets other forms of gun violence. And if you don't think improving access to resources for treating mental health will help in "the ghettos" then you don't understand the issues affecting the poor. There have been studies into FAS, which is prevalent in lower income communities, linking FAS to violence later in life. And that's just one small facet of mental health. If you think mental health is not a factor in poor people shooting each other, your head is in the sand. When people say they want to prevent school shootings, that doesn't mean they don't want to prevent other shootings.
