I've only read about half of it, but basically the stuff I wanted to. It goes from the beginning of America to the late 1980s. Also, pre-American history. Good stuff. Very cynical, though, lots of White Man bashing, I would say it's a borderline SJW work.

Let's say there's a manager in your workplace whom you hate, despise, detest, etc. You give no overt signs of this. You don't criticise his or her decisions; you aren't rude; you make sure to use a police tone of voice when speaking with this person. Do you think he or she can still, I don't know, SENSE how much you hate him or her? Perhaps through body language, or something else implicit?

I discovered that you can re-arrange the game display, so the games are from most played to least played. I own about 20 Switch games, and there are 3 or 4 I've played a LOT, and the others I've either played quite a lot, or only a little. I was absolutely convinced that Breath of the Wild was going to be first, and, if I had to guess (I haven't checked), I've probably put about 100 hours into it. But it was only 2nd, with Super Mario Oddysey 3rd, Runner3 4th, and so on. Do you know what was in top place? Crash Bandicoot NSane Trilogy. And to think, I almost didn't bother buying it.

Well, well, well.

Doesn't actually have to be something that was actually unpopular. Can be something people were lukewarm about, or unpopular in a relative sense, e.g. a film in a series that people didn't like as much as they had hoped.

It's like a very pared down, simpler version of Super Mario 64. There are also elements of Tropical Freeze, Bug!, and Billy Hatcher. I think it has a nice mix of linear and non-linear platforming. The levels are quite well designed. The challenge level isn't very high, but it's alright. My only real complaint is the graphics. In design, they look great, very platform gamey, but the technical qualities...really aren't that good. It looks like either a low-end 7th generation game, or high-end 6th generation game. Which is far from ideal, you know?

What do other people think of it?

For those that haven't been following it very closely, here are the basics.

The main contenders are the Conservatives, until Boris Johnson, which is a centre-right party; then, there is Labour, under Jeremy Corbyn, which is a left party. There are also various other, less significant parties. The SNP, who mostly look out for Scottish interests. The Green Party, which is fairly self explanatory, but have never had more than 1 seat in the House of Commons. The Liberal Democrats, which were the third biggest party in the UK until 2015, when they were crushed (and I mean, REALLY crushed). The Brexit Party, headed up by Nigel Farrage. UKIP, which are similar. Plaid Cymru, who look out for Wales. BNP, who are xenophobic and racist. The DUP are an Irish party.

Brexit is probably the biggest issue in this election. Boris Johnson says he'll get it done by January. Jeremy Corbyn says he'll have it done 6 months from now. The Lib Dems say they'll cancel it altogether.

Predictions by YouGov, an independent group who analyses these things, say that Conversatives are going to win by a significant or large margin, with Labour second. No hung Parliament. Personally, I'm not so sure. Boris Johnson has had some serious problems in the last week, to say nothing of not everyone is a right-wing voter, or keen on having a "character" as prime minister. The results will start to be counted late this evening, and the outcome will be announced, probably, in the early hours of the morning. I haven't decided if I'll stay up yet or not.

Questions? Thoughts? Any British people on CE planning to vote?
