A few months ago I went through all our projects on Azure Devops version control to do some cleanup, make them all target .NET Framework 4.7.2, because they were all on different versions having been created over 10 years, and get everything to build.

I wanted to be able to take a new computer, and be able to fetch and build our code with no hassle. Great for adding new employees.

And then I tested that by wiping my work laptop and clean installing Windows 10 and Visual Studio 2019 over a weekend. And I was able to fetch and build all my projects right away when I got into work the next day. It's pretty great to be able to do that.

Reminder Russia is funding almost every single large right-wing populist party in Europe. Front Nationale, UKIP, Fidesz, FSM & Lega, SD, AfD etc, the list goes on. This is much bigger than just the UK and the US. Russia has all of Europe in a natural-gas based stranglehold already and more and more parties are winning elections on Russian money. The amount of influence they have gained in foreign politics in general is frightening.
