Used a Sony mirrorless for a while, and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't all that exciting either. For the money that was spent on it, i'd rather have just gotten an entry-level SLR with more extras and lenses.

Didn't help that there was an issue with the viewfinder eye detection function staying active and draining the hell out of the battery, even when the camera was powered down.

The consensus seems to be that the cutoff is that the oldest millennials were born in 1980

I hear that a lot, but researchers seem to go with the early 80s still being considered Gen X with no obvious cutoff.
