Yeah, it was in the form of a diversity quota.

A group wanted to promote me into their team. They were small but all men. They interviewed me and it went great, but then brought on a woman with less experience.
They told me off the record that sometimes we have to do things for HR reasons that nobody likes. They eventually brought me on like 8 months later, but it required me to move cross country. I wasnt happy about that move but I did it.

Most Republican politicians suck on this subject as well. But hearing Democrats say the same bullshit they argued against during the Bush years is surreal (ie being anti Iraq war = being pro Saddam, being anti Syria/Libya meddling = being pro Gaddafi/Assad). Their old anti war position was just a dressed up anti Bush position. Its sad and pathetic, but the pro war corporate media is liberal so they take all the propaganda at face value.

That's just at anti-western folks looking for an excuse to pin something on them as if it isn't something everyone in the world has done. Sort of like how when you look at borders being drawn in the Middle East, people generally ignore the fact that that area has been owned by four or five different Empires and that every inch of land in that region was stolen through Conquest over the last few thousand years.

Yea I've always said that nothing is gained without taking it from someone else.

Also the world will never completely share with or except each other.

Even the native tribes were brutally killing each other.

But in the end, most of them were accidentally killed by small pox. Mother Nature can be a heartless bitch.

What kind of intergenerational benefits does the average white person today have? How much appeasement and apologizing is necessary before there is no more white privilege and we no longer have to hear about this?

There are no benefits, but the government has done harm to poor people who are disproportionately POC. Welfare for single moms has led to the destruction of black families. That is an example of inter generational harm inflicted on black families by white liberals in power. Black families used to be more stable than white families, and then white liberals blew that up. The below summarizes the damage from LBJs War on Poverty.

1erDybf

sxyNIq3

The sooner us white people get over our white fragility and own up to the destruction caused by our well intentioned welfare policies, the sooner we can heal. To arrogantly impose intrusive welfare policies and refuse to analyze the unintended damage caused by those policies is a perfect example of white privilege.

The unfair treatment comes from racism, or other bigotry, not minority status. It also suggests that whoever is in power is going to treat whoever the minority is unfairly simply because they're not the majority. And if that's the case, white people should be concerned.

Now, you can make an argument about the ability of the majority to treat the minority unfairly because there's less of them, but people who post that aren't making that point.

let's look at south africa, which is predominantly black, and how the minority white group is treated there

You mean how most of them live in luxury while apartheid decimated most of the natives living there??

Yep

The natives were decimated by another tribe shortly before the Dutch arrived. The Dutch were among the best farmers in the world and fed an enormous number of people, hence the population explosion in SA.

The distinction between mental and physical is outdated. The brain is a physical organ that operates on a physical level. It is an incredibly complex organ and we don't fully understand how it functions but it absolutely operates on a physical level. All those thoughts in your mind are a result of neurons firing and chemical secretions. The brain is undoubtedly the most important part of the body. It is sad how people attempt to weaponize their ignorance into stigmatizing anything related to the mind.

Im very open to the argument that male and female brains are different, and trans people are dealing with an unfortunate mismatch. The problem is if the brains are different, then the leftist HR department at Google owes James Damore an apology. Lets pick a lane and stick with it.
