don't forget that sometimes the story literally does not make sense due to censorship. one of the routes in In My Heart Had Wings was entirely about the transition of a physical relationship to an emotional and romantic one, and beyond censoring anything lewd, they censored hand-holding and hugging. the story legitimately was confusing without the context of what they removed. it's a goddamn romantic slice of life

probably to, yknow, sell it on other platforms where, yknow, graphic depictions of sex aren't allowed

it's their fault they removed apparently only "hand holding and hugging". considering all of the games that do have that, that are allowed, i wouldn't place that blame on the platform holder for that specific omission.

I would argue that it is the game publishers who need to grow up.

id argue that out the window

they want to make money. they want their game on a specific platform, are contracted to make a game for a specific platform, which means they must abide by that platforms rules.

otherwise the game doesn't come out for that platform, or doesn't happen.

there's no "growing up" for them to do. they're following the rules.

whiny people complaining that some pixelated boob now isn't there, acting like it's the end of the world, a slight against them personally, and insult to their very being, are who needs to grow up. it's not hurting or negatively affecting you at all, and to think that is childish. go to literally anywhere on the internet if you want to see some drawn tits. the one place it's not needed is on a video game console whose main and major demographic is children.

I was put off by the 'not every pokemon will be included' announcement too but that's not the only reason I won't buy sword/shield. My main concern is that the switch doesn't have enough memory space to handle the download, since sword/shield's download is I believe 300 and some megabytes of memory space to start. I don't want to have a game system where I can only play one game and, if that game crashes, I've lost all the pokemon that I've caught, etc. If past experience is any guide, Pokemon Home won't be available until months after sword/shield is released which isn't necessarily a good thing either since the switch's memory capacity is so limited. Also the switch isn't backwards compatible which means that I can't play earlier pokemon games (which I enjoy doing from time to time). Sony's PS4 and Xbox One can play older games but not the switch, made by the people who made a name for themselves by having game systems that can play the older games (3DS, 3DSXL, DSi, DS, etc.).

or, you can just buy a microsd card for like $20 and have more than enough room

or, you can just buy it physically.
