Saw Wonder Park on Friday. Nothing earth shattering Decent enough, I generally needed to something to leave my brain at the door for 1h30. Confession: I would totally ride the Skyflinger but be shitting myself.

Got the following on DVD dirt cheap and watched them over the weekend

Flubber - Legitimately one of Robin Williams' (God rest his soul) greatest 90s works. Was all but dying.

Mr Popper's Penguins, Alright I suppose. Jim Carrey can make me laugh in most things

Watched Rockys IV and V back to back last night. By the end, I felt like I was in there with Sly lol.

V is the runt of the Rocky littler but at least the ending saves it. Two Assholes get Lamped, yay!.

(Yes, I'm a masochist but at least Tommy Morrison (GRHS) was convincing enough to make you want to see his character get 7 kinds of shit kicked out of him by the very man he betrayed in order to get to the top. The one saving grace about that movie)

Fisherman's Friends delivered. Don't think Board 8 would "get it" (a bunch of a fisherman based in Cornwall forming a singing group doesn't exactly scream "Must see", tbf) on a whole but fuck it, *I* enjoyed it. Laughs and some real heart in there. I think part of it is due to liking Daniel Mays (who was brilliant as Ronnie Biggs in the TV-miniseries Mrs Biggs based around his Mrs Charmian, played by Sheridan Smith, who is basically ITV's Golden Girl/MVP at the minute)
