But if you can show business as a direct result of what you're doing that you believe goes beyond what you were originally paid for, I see no problem in bringing that up. It's a design related position in the building industry. I'm proficient in older programs that aren't "supported" by our servicing anymore, as well as modern ones that take at minimum 4-6 months to learn how to use professionally. Both are in house programs so the training is expensive in order to get people up to speed, and the older programs are not taught anymore and the training mainly comes from time spent on site working with it. I also have a degree in the field and prior job experience in a similar design position. I can probably look up the numbers on the jobs I have worked and see which ones have made profit in my category, it's hard to get an exact number because I share charging codes with other departments and that's how they delegate some of the budgets for projects --- Ask me if I would eat da booty. |

I'm overbooked and still hit all the good numbers and shit that they test employees on, I am also leading some big jobs in terms of cash (7 figure) and I have to be on location for a lot of jobs on short notice. Basically I'm not really replaceable right now, even if my work got outsourced to other branches the local projects would get hit hard. Should I ask for more lol? Or even a promotion. I know it's good to act when you are most needed. Also my old supervisor said I was brought in on the lower end of the scale for my position sooo... --- Ask me if I would eat da booty. |
