There's nothing wrong with thinking someone else is attractive. It's more an appreciation of their beauty than anything. Granted, there's a fine line between appreciation and respect, as in I don't go around commenting in front of my wife about every good looking woman that I see. But we're comfortable enough and trust each other enough to say "damn, check that ass out" or "he has a nice body."

I don't think either of us would be thrilled at the idea of telling the other about an encounter like TC's and the temptation we withheld after being in a fight, but that's just us. Different strokes and all that.

There's two people in the world I can say I truly hate. One of them doesn't even know me, and the other likely knows how I feel about him, but doesn't know the extent. He likely doesn't hate me. Honestly, he probably thinks nothing of me at this point.

Youre really making a mountain of a mole hill.

Its just a hot topic with constant opinions because its a shared user experience and easy to talk about or make jokes about. The same thing happened with emoji, and every feature before.

I disagree, and I don't think seeing passive aggressive comments from the staff is necessary whenever upheaval occurs like this. Not saying you're the one being passive aggressive.

I dunno, it just doesn't make sense to me when you've got a userbase on a site as established as this one that the staff wouldn't go to some better measure to further legitimize that they care about the community they've fostered. It just seems like wasted potential.

Upheaval? Seriously? This is what's considered an upheaval? Because you weren't warned days in advance of a minor board feature change that you can literally change back to the old style if you so please?

Any mod who's not afraid of scrutiny would confess to the people they mod, instead of snarking on nameless messages.

While I have no qualms about sharing who I've moderated if the situation calls for it, whether I've made a mistake or not, that is a ridiculous argument. Are we going to pretend now that there aren't users here that take their moderations very personally and won't act as such if they knew who were behind their deleted posts?
