Are you having a hard time? It's not the most forgiving game to start with.
As for more orbs, if I remember right you get more for getting a kill while the style meter is at a higher point and there are a few spots you can grind if you really want to.

As for tips, ignore the git gud meme junk and play at your own pace, if you want you can actually restart and re-do the first few levels much more efficiently now that you know what to expect, there's bonuses for playing well and quick and stuff like that. Work out if you like the moveset you've been given and if you'd rather focus on upgrading health/DT or if you want more moves. Your jump is a dodge with the I frames being most of your ascent upward, you aren't reliant on the side rolls. Your taunt is pretty good in this game, it's just a quick come get me gesture but it's not too costly for time and it's great for building DT meter. In future it does the same thing but some of the taunts get longer and more elaborate.

Oh and yeah Ifrit's good because some enemies won't budge from regular sword swipes but they're slow enough to be opened up by a charged Ifrit punch. There's some elemental weakness stuff going on in places too so it helps there.

I find the Pokemon Sw/Sh controversy interesting but I haven't bought a Pokemon game in 3 gens. Just not big on watered down difficulty, megas, most of the new ones I guess.

Nioh 1 I still look at and wonder if I should buy, so yeah if Nioh 2 can capitalize on the best of the first game I'd be down. From the sounds of it there's fair points on both sides when it comes to Nioh. I hear the gist is the gameplay is fun but they don't really give you a whole lot to do and the loot system just has you doing the same things over and over.

Resident Evil 5 co-op with voice chat can do this.
After a while you end up with all the unlocks on binding of isaac and winning becomes inconsequential, it turns more into just gradually seeing your run come together

Honestly I probably shouldn't have included him anyway since it didn't turn out that he was terrible, since he's always been terrible anyway. Most of the others had some sort of credibility before their demise.

Stop giving them attention. There's nothing informative, it shouldn't be surprising and if it's entertaining to you well sure have a laugh, get it out of your system but don't be surprised when watching these guys do this stuff repeatedly gets really stale.

That idiot at the bottom of your list was very telling, I actually did end up seeing a bit of that one. He did something completely typical of an advertisement enabling scum youtuber and a million of them just started salivating all "Hehehe this will make a FINE hashtag yeessss" and all these videos start popping up where they they just sit there and talk at length and go "X Youtuber does not align with the after school special-esque values my Youtube sona (who you should sub to and support on patreon) holds! It does not take any effort to understand why what he did is deplorable but you'd better believe I'm gonna talk at length about it and make damn sure you know all about how I'm now a permanent fixture in this hopefully long-lasting argument."

I wish people weren't so eager to lift these people up to e-celeb status in exchange for the chance to ride their coattails.

Do interactions with villains morph into MGS style conversations?
Can Snake seemingly pause time to talk it out on the codec like he can in MGS? Do the villains know about Snake's background and his legacy?

1, 2 and 3 maybe outside of Birkin are free. Mr X genuinely not having a clue what to do because Snake's an actual stealth pro would be a pretty funny twist too.

4 gets scrambled a little since Snake has no history with Krauser and would probably have a different rescue strategy for Ashley, but isn't too hard since enemies never get any worthwhile guns, he hard counters Garrador, he could work out the liquid nitrogen thing for Vergugo

From there on is a job for Twin Snakes Snake.

I used to give loads of games the benefit of the doubt before Dead Rising 2 happened.
You can usually make a really good estimate at this time in the industry by who's making it, who it's for and the gameplay:cinematic trailer ratio though.

I have absolutely no idea how you could call RE7 humorless.

RE6 was also a game that funneled you through corridors and liked to take control away from the player to show explosions or throw QTE's at you. C'mon now.

6's storyline absolutely did that but the mercs mode was great to just fire up and start unloading ultra instinct on dudes. Professional difficulty co-op with infinite ammo disabled and agent hunt on was pretty cool too.

7 had the Dead Rising 2 problem for me for humor, like it was telling me when to laugh instead of just seriously pushing it with suspension of disbelief and letting me notice that at my leisure. Didn't help that prior to it coming out people wasted no time making Jack Baker the overexposed meme character. Maybe some people really like that but from the looks of it it had no staying power, it was all for the pre-release hype train.

Why is it always the Smash community where people are trying to get the new game over not on its own merits but by trying to put down the flawed but loved one that still has a following overshadowing two of its sequels? I thought they were trying to get over the party game stigma, eating each other shouldn't be the priority here.

MvcI people don't try that with Mvc2 or Umvc3, SF5 people recognise that they can like SF3 and SF4 since they're different games.
